• Joined Weyerhaeuser in 1979, in current position since April 1995

• Leads the following organizations: Environment, Health and Safety; Government Affairs; Corporate Communications; Procurement and Supply Management; and E-business

• Also is chair of the Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation

• He has been a forester, a branch manager for the Building Materials business, VP of Government Affairs

• Hogans serves as a board member for the University of Puget Sound, Zion Preparatory Academy, Discovery Institute, Meridian Institute, Regence Blue Shield, Pacific Science Center, U.S. Bank, Washington and ForestExpress.

• Bachelor of science degree in forestry and natural resources from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources, and a Master of science degree in forest resources from the University of Washington. Also a graduate of the Graduate School of Business Executive Program at Stanford University.
