Belize is world-renowned for its ecotourism and has one of the most interesting mainlands of all the Central American countries. The jungles are lush, the wildlife is abundant and the rivers range from mild to wild.

We highly recommend a river trip. Belize has set aside vast areas of natural forest as sanctuaries for birds, monkeys, jaguar and even the crocodile, making a trip down the river an unbelievable

experience that offers rare photographic opportunities to see river life in their natural environments.

Ramon's Village Divers offers enriched air NITROX, the latest tool in our efforts to assist divers in staying underwater longer especially in the 60 to 100-foot range. Enriched air Nitrox gives you more of what you got into diving for-time underwater. Enriched air does this by replacing some of the nitrogen in the air with oxygen. This means you absorb less nitrogen during a dive, which gives you longer no decompression limits. The air we normally breathe, in the air we fill, has 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen. With Nitrox we can blend, mix or add more oxygen to the air mix. The most popular mixes are 32 and 36 percent.
