A visit to the ancient fishing town of Nessebar, situated on a small peninsula, connected with the shore by a narrow sand strip. This unique town with narrow streets, stone houses with thick walls and wooden balconies, yards full of flowers and fig-trees is included in the UNESCO list of historical town-museums. Remains of more than 40 churches from the period of 5th to 16th centuries can be seen during the sightseeing tour around the town. The excursion begins with a visit to the picturesque lime-stone town of Balchik. A walk around the summer residence of the ex-queen of Romania - Maria - a romantic and elegant architectural mixture of oriental and European styles, situated on the sea coast, amidst a magnificent botanical garden. More than 3000 plants are planted together in this place, including the second biggest Cacti collection in Europe, which consists of more than 250 different types. Our next stop is the picturesque cape Kaliakra with the remains of a Medieval fortress. A lavish dinner with a rich live show ends the excursion.

Panoramic trip around Varna by coach and on foot. In 585 BC Greek colonists from Asia Minor, attracted by the beautiful Black Sea, founded a town, called Odessos. During the time of Roman Empire the town developed into an important trade centre. Today’s name Varna is of Slavonic origin and is connected with the formation of Bulgarian country. Nowadays Varna is a big cultural and tourist centre. A visit to the picturesque Aladja Monastery and the natural phenomenon Stone Forest is included in the excursion. Natural stone columns up to 6m. high were left after the withdrawal of the sea a million of years ago and form a unique “Stone forest”. The excursion finishes with a visit to an old cozy wine-cellar, where high quality Bulgarian wines are tasted, served with light snacks.
