Excess Wear & Tear Guidelines Leasing offers unique benefits and lifestyle advantages. With a typically shorter term, leasing lets you upgrade to a new vehicle more often. Normal vehicle wear and tear is expected, and returning your vehicle at lease-end is simple. The following are some common excess wear and tear items to consider: Windshield and glass Paint chips and cracks Tires and rims Exterior dents, dings, and scratches Headlamps, tail lamps, and bulbs Mirrors Bumpers, step bumpers, surrounding trim Cargo cover Factory audio equipment Carpets Mufflers and tail pipe Excessive odour Door handles Moldings, trim, metal, chrome Name plate badges and hood ornaments Upholstery and interior Any excess wear and tear will be noted on your final inspection report, and you will be responsible for the necessary repairs or parts replacement. Excess Wear & Tear Guidelines

Leasing offers unique benefits andlifestyle advantages. With a typicallyshorter term, leasing lets you upgrade to a new vehicle more often.

Normal vehicle wear and tear isexpected, and returning your vehicleat lease-end is simple. The followingare some common excess wear andtear items to consider:

• Windshield and glass

• Paint chips and cracks

• Tires and rims

• Exterior dents, dings, and scratches

• Headlamps, tail lamps, and bulbs

• Mirrors

• Bumpers, step bumpers, surrounding trim

• Cargo cover

• Factory audio equipment

• Carpets

• Mufflers and tail pipe

• Excessive odour

• Door handles

• Moldings, trim, metal, chrome

• Name plate badges and hood ornaments

• Upholstery and interior

Any excess wear and tear will be noted on your final inspection report, and you will be responsible for the necessary repairs or parts replacement. Contact your dealership for more details.

Exterior• Scratches with no paint damage on exterior

panels and hood less than 10 centimetres (100 millimetres) maximum of 5 per panel is acceptable

• Windshield chips must be less than 0.6 centimetres (6 millimetres) in diameter and outside the drivers field of vision defined by wiper path

• Dings, dents on exterior panels and hood with no paint damage are less than 5 centimetres (50 millimetres) maximum of 5 per panel is acceptable

Interior• Holes, cuts, tears, burns, scuffs and

permanent stains to the interior soft trim (including upholstery, headliner, carpets, etc.) are less than 0.6 centimetres (6 millimetres) maximum of 2 in total

• All original equipment, including (but is not limited to) the CD player, navigation discs, airbags, spare tire and tool kit set, owner’s manuals, car keys and remotes (including an additional valet key, if applicable)

Aftermarket

• Modifications to the chassis, engine, or suspension are not acceptable

• All aftermarket accessories that are not Kia genuine parts will not be acceptable (i.e. trailer hitches)

• For any vehicle manufactured on or after January 1, 2016, aftermarket window tint will not be acceptable

• No tire, including the spare, have less than 0.33 centimetres (3.3 millimetres) remaining tread at its shallowest point

• All four tires must match the original tires in size, type including spare tire (e.g. all season)

• Rims must match the original specifications

Consider the purchase of additional excess wear and tear protection products

Excess wear and tear may occur

• Contact your Dealership and consider lease-end options

• If returning the vehicle, review the wear and tear guidelines

• Book your vehicle inspection up to two months to maturity

• Work with your dealership to make any repairs from excess wear and tear
