Very interesting and full of useful information as well as real world examples. Tutors were very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Pace of course was good and covered a fair bit in the two days. The guest speaker was amazing and added a huge amount of valuable information to the course. Thanks!

This series takes its lead from project management methodologies including Prince 2 and applies the knowledge to exhibitions and exhibition stakeholders. This series is best suited to people who need to organise the delivery of an exhibition in total or its components. You may already perform these tasks but is there a better way to achieve the exhibition objectives by using project management theory?

There is no doubt that sustainability is a major focus for exhibition and event businesses. In line with that – and the EEAA’s prioritisation of sustainability – this workshop focusses on environmental, social and financial sustainability initiatives for exhibitions by exploring local and global trends and best practices that can be utilised by your business. Sustainability policy and procedures will also be covered, in line with the current international standard ISO 20121. This series is for everyone working in exhibitions; from operational roles to planners and middle and senior managers.

Learn how to harness the power of social media to reach customers, attendees and potential sponsors in this workshop. You will discuss the development, implementation and monitoring of integrated social media strategies for exhibition businesses and stakeholders. Find out how to specifically target customers through boosted posts and use analytics to improve your social media outcomes. An expert guest speaker will guide you through algorithms, social media strategies and making the right choice of social media platforms. Peer discussions and collaboration explore issues such as dealing with trolls, using social media in a crisis and ensuring followers are engaged with your business.
