Beardbarian A viking village is assaulted by the army of an evil shaman who’s testing his powers before trying to conquer the whole world. All the fierce and brave warriors of the village were brought to the evil shaman’s hideout in order to convert them to the finest warriors of his army. The evil psycopath is also against women rights and sent the captured women to the kitchens because (and I quote) “This army has to be fed...somehow”. Only one man was left in the village. The weakest of all the men in the village and a notorious coward who has saved himself by hiding under the bed! But it is his time to shine and he runs in the forest to seek the help of an ancient druid. The old man gives the viking a potion and by accident (he was mumbling and touched his beard with his hands soaked in the potion) the potion transformed his beard into a powerful weapon! Beardbarian is a 2D action-platformer in which the player has to guide Olaf the viking through insidious levels and help him defeat deadly enemies in order to save his entire village and to teach the evil shaman Garand a lesson or two! To accomplish this goal the player can use the powers of Olaf’s beard such as:

Beardcopter: Olaf swings his beard in order to make an uppercut which can deal damage to the enemies. This move can also be used to float in order to overcome obstacles;

Beardpunch: A powerful straight punch who hit the enemies in the face. Take this! Beardstrike: Olaf can smash the ground with a powerful hit that can stun enemies and destroy weak

surfaces; Beardrope: use the beard to grab ledges, swing and the jump on the other side! Viking Dash: Olaf can also dash forward for a couple of second gaining inertia for long jumps or just

for tackling enemies. As said before the game is divided into levels and possibly into different world levels. There are multiple ways to complete each level but nonetheless the player has to defeat or avoid a lot of enemies that will do everything to stop him. The different paths are more of a play choice than an actual strategy option. For example the player can have a choice whether to enter a cave or to take the path uphill and go to the top of the mountain. The cavern level may have a smaller number of enemies but different environment puzzles to solve using Olaf’s abilities while the mountain path will require the player to face a lot of deadly enemies. Olaf has a limited number of lives and if he dies while having zero extra lives it will be game over. Beardbarian is a challanging action-platformer and in order to make the game even more challenging Olaf dies wih two hits or when he jumps offscreen (Mario-style). Concerning the enemies’ life pool they can be divided in three different macro categories: minions who can be killed with one hit (by jumping over them or by using one of Olaf’s skills), elite monsters who die in two or three hits and world bosses who die in five or ten hits (it’s going to be decided during the developement). World bosses are the champions of Garand’s army and Garand is considered a world boss too (for the last world level). Inspiration for this game are classics like Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins, Warioland and Megaman. The look & feel has to be similar to these games and has to engage the player with a fast paced gameplay.

DIE ON MECONCEPT Die on me is a sidescrolling platformer where the player has to make the character die in order to succeed. Each time you die the character will become stronger and stronger and dying will be harder and harder! Are you good enough to die?

SETTING the game takes place in a classic medievalesque enviorment. Mankind is being devastated by an evil Overlord and no man could ever defeat him. You’re a mage and you fi nd a way to maybe give humanity back some hope: you developed a spell wich will enables you to control the overlord and make him kill himself.

GAME GENRE 2D sidescrolling platformer with puzzle game elements

GAME MECHANICS The Overlord starts with a settled number of lifes (still to be decided) and for every life he loses he comes back with a new ability wich make him immune to the previous cause of death. Every time you will have to fi nd new ways to make your character die: sometimes you’ll have to be fast, sometimes you’ll have to be creative and some times you’ll have to be both. For istance, if you fall into a hole full of spikes of death you’ll acquarire the skill “iron skin“ and you won’t die anymore falling again. The character can just moove left or right and jump. The spell has an expiration time, after which the Overlord will take back control over himself leading to a game over. With the game progressing you’ll be able to extend this period of time.Every time you die you’ll start back always from the same starting point but the abi-lities aquired each time will allow you to take differnt paths and shortcats to reach further areas faster.

DISTURBIA

piattaforma: PC

DISTURBIA

The game is based on the interpration of a character who is a mental and who has to live the everyday life.

The game will be live through the eye of illness and the aim will be face everyday challenge a mental have to overcome (sleeping, eating in public, darkness,..).The most difficulty of the game is crated by the mind of the ill character. The game will be lived in penumbra, ascending climax of voices, of shadows that become tentacles which tries to catch and cage the protagonist and of dark and murky monsters that block the way in order to kill the leading role.

One of the key features is that the protagonis is no hero, but a human being, so he have no weapons of superpowers. The courage of the player will be his only resource in order to defeat those monsters. One can take as example game such as Slenderman or Silent Hill, but in those cases the gamer, when he see the “enemy”, he tries to run away to find a illuminated and saefty spot where he can feel protected. But the second key feature of Disturbia is that the monster aren’t “real” in the world of the game, but unconsciuous created by the mental mind of the character himself, and this peculiarity makes impossible to run away from them because it is impossible to run away from uorselves, our mind and our fears. The player, in order to finish the game, will be forced to face those monsters, facing his own fears, running against them ignoring their presence, succeeding in ending the day.

Elements Supremacy Platform: Android/iOS Target age: 12+ Genre: Isometric View, Exploration, Fighting. Long ago, in a world where two Gods were fighting for the supremacy of Russel’s Teapot reign, inhabitants had split according to their belief. Some of them believed in the Invisible Pink Unicorn and some others in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Those two mighty Gods have thus granted their followers the powers of the four elements of nature in order to conquer the Russel’s Teapot reign. Each clan will use fire, earth, air and water to gain the control of some special artifacts which will increase the power of their God, allowing the divinity to dominate his opponent and become the Supreme one. Gameplay: The player has to search for the artifacts hidden in the most remote parts of the reign using characters representing the nature elements. Choose and switch among different elements to build your own strategy up. Enemies and obstacles will hinder the hunt though, urging you to use the collected powers to defeat them. Moreover, the invoked elements from opposite divinity may as well interfere with your research by fighting or anticipating you on the artifacts research. In order to assure the victory of your God, you will have to either conquer as many artifacts as you can or kill elements of enemy village using strengths and weakness of every character. Cooperate with your friends to control more elements at the same time and conquer the supremacy, challenging other teams. The game combine 2D and 3D, 2D objects create a 3D view. USP:

• Cooperative mode against other teams; • Exploit strengths and weakness of elements; • Interact with the nature of the reign; • Discover unique features of elements; • Switch your character during the same match; • Build different gaming strategies.

GUM RUN

Introduction:The protagonist is a running gum that can change his shape. It has to avoid hitting walls that stand along the way. These walls are in some parts empty, so the protagonist has to assume the correct shape to fit these empty spaces in the walls.

Game Description:The aim of the player is to draw with his finger the correct shape in a special space situated in a part of the screen (not defined yet). This special space represent the incoming wall, the drawn shape represent the shape that the running gum will assume as it faces the incoming wall, so it has to correspond to the empty part of this wall. If the shape doesn't fit the empty spaces, the gum hits the wall → game over. If it fits, it goes on running and facing another wall.

Analysis of the Market / Unique Selling Point:Of course there are a lot of games similar to Temple Run, but the actions that the player can do are always the same: jump, slide, go left or right. I think that this game adds something new, which is the fact that the player has to draw the correct position to be assumed by the running protagonist (i've searched for a game like this and i haven't found it).

Platform: Devices with touchscreen

Genre:Endless Runner

Possible game characteristics to be implemented:• Game becomes faster as it goes on• Empty parts of the walls become more and more complex

Just a fantasy

Platforms: PC, Mac and, if it's possible, PS3/PS4. Mobile controls are not suitable for the game...

When we are children, we have a lot of dreams and nightmares. We want to become astronauts, superheroes, celebrity gynecologists, and we look under our bed to see if there are any monsters (except our smelly sneakers). Then, slowly, we grow up and start to forget our dreams and our fears to substitute them with others...a well-payed job, a great house, an expensive car, and we fear just death, taxes and government...

What happened to all our dreams and nightmares?

Reality has overcome them, capturing them and reducing the world a really grey and boring place...

Do we really want to live in such a place? No.Do we really want to keep our fantasies in a dark corner of our mind and forget about them? No.Do we really want to have bacon? Yes, of course!

Then it's time to fight reality back!

“Just a fantasy” is a 2D platform where you, a fantasy (is up to you if you want to become a dream or a nightmare) decide to fight against reality, to free all the captured fantasies and to make the world again a magical and dreamy place...or a terrible and scary one!

Features:

− Use up to...well, a lot of surreal weapons and crazy impossible attacks (you're a fantasy, remember? You can do anything you want!) to defeat enemies and powerful bosses. Make them die with cuteness using the Cathrower, or electrify them using the Lightning of Doom!

− Free captured fantasies to get new attacks, and explore the world to discover treasures and new costumes (like the the Pink Tutu, the Hell Terror or the Useless Armor).

− Are you in trouble? Release all your dream/nightmare power in terrific and insane super attacks! What do you prefer? A rainbow armageddon by the Four Apocalypse Ponies, or a call to our old good friend Enola Gay?

− Become more and more powerful getting experience from enemies. Choose what you want to become: a dream, or a nightmare?

− Explore boring location and transform them with the power of fantasy! Can a convent become a luna park, or a underground train a yellow submarine?

− Find crazy easter eggs and secret bosses, like Fier Duca Ganzi (references to existing persons are all intended, of course)

Selling points: humor, craziness, insanity, surrealism, bananas.

Analysis of the market: the purpose of a game is to have fun, right? Than, what's better than a crazy and comical game? Think of Metal Slug, Rayman, Jazz Jackrabbit, Ratchet and Clank (ok, is a 3D game, but you got my point), Castle crasher, Earthworm Jim, Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions, and so on. All of them are great and successful games, loved by the player for their gameplay and their humor. So...let's do an even better game, with a more powerful humor! And ducks. Everybody likes ducks!

DESCRIPTION() /*You control a character in first person that discovers his/her ability to go through mirrors and interact with the alternate reality of the other side. It is a puzzle game, in which you have to discover how to escape a prison you were locked into because of a political "crime" judged by a dictatorial government. In order to do that, you can pass objects from one reality to another, and these objects will seem to be similar but they will actually be different because they are inverted. Also the things you do on one reality are reproduced on the other (because it's a mirror), which is something that can bring good or bad consequences depending on what you do. You shouldn't call the attention of guards while trying to escape. So for instance if you have to do something noisy, you can do it inside the mirror and it will have the same effect on the outside of the mirror but without the noise. If there are two mirrors in front of each other you can run trough them constinuously and gain momentum. Everything that reflects is a mirror. If you carry a mirror around you can do amazing things.*/

KEY_FEATURES() //escape a prison//challenge your brain//enter the alternate realities of mirrors//THIS game should be called Mirror's Edge, not Mirror's Edge!//discover the character's history during gameplay

MARKET() /*This game is similar to Portal in which the player has to solve puzzles and transit from one part to the other to do that, and depending on the position of mirrors it can kind of transport from one place to the other, but it's more complicated than that.

Quest for Awesomeness! In 'Quest for Awesomeness!' you take part to a great adventure playing as one of the four main characters of classic fantasy games to defeat an evil lord of destruction. But this characters are really hopeless, totally rookies in taking part in a great adventure. Thank gods they're followed by four brave souls of great heroes of the past! The game starts with an epic quest to defeat the last "Great lord of destruction, evil and all the bad things": four epic adventurers are going to Lord Melficus's castle followed by four rookies. These newbie heroes won a prize in a lottery, a "Great adventure experience" with the main heroes of this world! But something goes really really wrong, and the main party of the great and brave heroes gets wiped out as soon as they reach the castle (because of their boldness and pride). Now it's all in the hand of the rookies! But there's something more, the mighty heroes that were supposed to defeat (again) the current evil lord didn't die! Well, in fact they did, but now they're ghosts that can help the inexperienced adventurers to become real heroes and save the world once again! The Quest for Awesomeness begins!

GAMEPLAY: The game is basically a 2D horizontal scrolling adventure that takes inspiration from games as Castlevania and Metroid, in which the player uses one of the four classes available (Knight, Wizard, Ranger and Cleric), each one followed by the respective ghost of the hero that died at the beginning of the game. The player goes on through the levels by killing mosters and solving puzzles, the main feature is that in each moment he can switch the control between the rookie hero and the ghost following him. Playing as the ghost involves the ability to haunt enemies and moving them for a limited period of time, as well as possessing objects in the castle to defeat foes or solving puzzles (for example: a ghost can possess a chandelier to let it fall on the head of a goblin, or possess a enemy to use a switch unreachable by the player to open a door, and so on...) as well as floating unharmed to reach places unavailable for the hero. There's also a competitive multiplayer versus mode in which one group plays as the adventurers with the objcetive to reach the end of the level, and one other group acts as the ghosts that haunt enemies or objects to hinder them!

The game tries to play jokes on various cliches of the classic fantasy games, taking them ironically and trying to offer a great experience to the player that finds himself using a classic character and an incorporeal one as well.

Competitors: 2D horizontal scrolling adventure games (Castlevania, Metroid, Rogue Legacy)Main features:

• Play as an adventurer and as a ghost with different abilities at the same time!• Various gameplay given by the "haunt" feature!• Solve puzzles and defeat enemies with the combined action of heroes and ghosts!• Explore a castle full of secrets and goodies, references to cliches of the fantasy genre• Multiplayer competitive mode, Heroes vs Ghosts! Procedurally generated with high

scores at the end• Progression of the characters with experience system, new skills and equipment

Possible platforms: PC, Consoles

The game concept could be based on an endless runner one, so you have your TeddyBeer in a running fast world and he has to collect as many pints as he can. The world runs so you have to be quick and also avoid some obstacles. Obstacles will depend on the level, for example if you have a city type of level you will have car obstacles, if you are in a forest you will have animal obstacles etc.

While your TeddyBeer is collecting pints he becomes more and more drunk so the game really changes. For examples the bear feels his world laggy and now he has some problems to go straight and to move, so you have to click the button “right” if you want him to go in this direction, but earlier because now it takes time for him. His view of the world is more confused, maybe double. After too many beers he’s really wasted and you could have to click on “left” if you want him to go to the right and click on the opposite commands... stuff like that!

To help your bear you will find items to catch and power up him like coffee, sandwiches, donuts etc. Those items help the bear hangover, so his movements and his perception of the world can come back to normality.

TeddyBeerDo you remember your sweet teddy bear? Just forget it! Now you are grown up and you can play with another type of bear... The TeddyBeer! TeddyBeer really loves pints of beer and getting wasted, help him!

Platforms: smartphones, tablets and if it can run on the computer as well... amazing!Competitors and selling points: competitors should be other endless runner games, but we have an original idea and character, plus a strange world result of the alcool effects that could be interesting to built for programmers and designer, and to play for the customer (double vision, laggy world, opposit commands, difficult mobility etc).

Cheers!

The WideoGame

Platform: iOS/Android Genre: multiplayer running game Are you tired of playing always the same games? Welcome to The WideoGame: match your friends, and beat them all! Every match is between two players, each of them on his own device, and is composed by three round. In each round, each player, one after the other, chooses between one of the five game mode available. Then the level is generated (procedural generation) according to the choosen mode. The two players will play independently on their own device and after that they will be synchronized. In every round, players starts with 25 lives and the final score is based on the remaining lives. Furthermore the score of each round has a different weight (remaing lives [RL] x1 for the 1st round, RLx2 for the 2nd round, RLx5 for the 3rd round). After the 3rd round, the winner is declared . If you are enough tenacious and not satisfied you can use the “crazy card”: you will play again one of the three round and you will have only one single life to complete it. If you do it, you will be the winner, otherwise… I’m sorry, but you lose. In every round you can choose between five game mode. These are all “running game”-style(character runs continuosly) and are the following: [sketch] 1. jump: you arrive at the end of level just jumping the obstacle (tap to jump - easy don’t you?) 2. color fix: you haven’t the possibility to jump the (colored) obstacles, but you have to destroy them with the right colored hammer 3. gravity: you haven’t the possibility to jump, but you must change the gravity in order to avoid obstacles 4. shadow: you haven’t the possibility to jump, but you need to go upside down, becoming your shadow! (Warning! also underground there are obstacles!) 5. backward: your character runs not from left to right, but from right to left (uh_ uh) and… (won’t be so simple) the controls are inverted too: until you hold down on the screen the character runs, when you untap the character will jump! Market analysis: many running game are only “one button game” … in our game the challenge is to mix together different running game modes (Jetpack Joyride, Temple Run, Geometry Dash) and to convert it into a funny multiplayer game (Ruzzle, QuizDuello). Unique Selling Points: multiplayer matches 3-round game possibility to choose your mode (3 to 5) crazy final mode incremental score (x1, x2, x5)

JUDGEMENT DAY

You are god, and you’re really bored. So you decide to go on a good old apocalyptic killing spree against those boring, insignificant humans because you know..... they are having all the fun (and you really don’t like that).Judgement day is a 3d rts-god game for PC and mobile platforms that builds on the god game genre to offer the player the possibility to exercise the immense powers of a very angry god.The game is divided in various small maps and takes place in different sections of those lovely american suburbs that we all have seen in a ton of movies (white wooden houses, lovely neighbors, lots of dogs, ecc ). Your goal is to kill as much inhabitants as you can using your god powers. These powers range from the possibility to interact with objects (start a car, take down a tree), instill emotions in humans (fear, anger, calm), possess them, blow up objects, start small fires (yes, they will become BIG fires) and the always lovely giant fireball of doom. You’ll start with a limited range of powers (different in every map) and unlock new ones as soon as you collect the souls of the ones you have killed. Start simple and grow bigger along the way !!! But be careful your time on earth is limited and if you scare them too much the humans will run away from the neighborhood and you will lose souls (unless you kill them first of course).

- Play as an evil angry god, do you really need more ?

- Kill humans in a lot of different creative ways, you can confuse a bus driver into running over someone crossing the road and then possess the local policeman into killing the bus driver and the crowd of people coming to see the incident.

- The limited size of the maps and of the humans (around 10/15 per maps) makes every single kill important fun and engaging.

-Challenge yourself into making the best and funniest kill possible... and then show them to your friends.

This game is a mix between real time strategy and god games, you will have an rts like view of the world where you can unleash your god powers.Judgement day will initially be developed for the PC platform but a mobile port is more than possible since all the elements of the game and of it’s interface can be played very well using a touch screen. Most males within 10-20(and more) years love games in which you have to destroy/kill stuff. If you need a real world example just look at the recent GTA V release, the first thing most people do is to kill an innocent driver, take is car and create as much mayhem as possible. People also love god games, even if there are not many of them coming out. Godus, a Peter Molineux developed god game that has been successfully kickstarted less than a year ago.Dungeon keeper, Black and white and the fantastic From Dust are also a good inspiration. The difference between this games and Judgment day is that in JD you have to actually kill your followers in a lot of different and interesting ways, which i believe is a very interesting difference (and much more akin to what a “real” god would actually do if he found us), also JD focuses on a lot smaller scale in respect to the other games, this is done for obvious technical reasons(simpler ai and better performance), but mainly because it makes every single kill really meaningful.
