Abstract

Your abstract should be approximately 250 words and summarize the content of the paper. References should not be used in the abstract. The purpose of the abstract is for the reviewing process. At the end of the abstract, 3-5 keywords that truly represent the content of the paper should be provided. The abstract and the keywords are to be fully-justified as it is in the text here. They are written with 10.5 point, single-spaced as it is here. Between the abstract and keyword, there is one blank line and after keywords there should be two blank lines before the beginning of the main text.

Keywords: List 3-5 keywords to assist indexing the article

1. Introduction

Upon the acceptance of the paper to be presented at ICLIST2016, the authors must prepare the manuscript according to the format provided in this template. The paper must be written in English and it should be saved as Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). This document can be used as a template as well as the guideline to create the manuscript.

2. Preparation

The basic elements of a paper are title, author name(s) and affiliation(s), abstract (with 3-5 keywords), main body of paper, conclusions, and references. All fonts must be in Times New Roman. Use italic for emphasizing a word or phrase. Do not use boldface typing or capital letters except for section headings. Do not print page number in the manuscript as well as other information in the header and footer areas except for those already provided.

2.1 FormatThe main body of manuscript should be prepared in one column with a single spacing and with the following

margins;

Top margin 25 mm Bottom margin 20 mm Left margin 15 mm Right margin 15 mm

2.2. Title and author(s) information

All items in the title block should be centered. The title should be set in 20-point boldface font. The first letter of each word should be capitalized (do not capitalize articles, coordinate conjunctions or prepositions unless the title begins with such a word).

The author’s name(s) should be set in 11-point font and the list of affiliations should be set in 10.5-point font. For each author, a numbered superscript should be used to indicate institution affiliation. The corresponding author should be indicated by the asterisk “*” symbol. Emails of all authors should be provided accordingly.

3. Main Text Body

This digest is for peer review.

The main text of the paper (except the abstract) must be typed in column format and fully justified (flush left and flush right). All fonts are set in 10.5-point font. Do not place any additional blank lines between paragraphs (see section 5 as an example).

4. Figures and Tables

All figures and tables should be placed after their first mention in the text. Place figure captions below the figures and centered within a column. Place table titles above the tables and flush left. Should figures have two parts, include labels “(a)” and “(b)” as part of the artwork. Please verify that the figures and tables mentioned in the text actually exist.

When citing a figure(s) in the text, they should be referred as, for example, “Fig. 1” or “Figs. 1 – 3.” Use “Figure” or “Figures” when it starts the sentence and also do not abbreviate “Table”. There should be one line of space above the figure and one line of space below the caption before the text continues. This is also applied to the table.

5. Units

Use of SI units is recommended when the manuscript is prepared. If other units are customary in the field, they may be added in parentheses.

6. Equations

Equations should be typed using sophisticated tool such as MS Equation Editor, MathType, or Aurora (with little knowledge of LaTeX).

The equations must be horizontally centered and numbered consecutively. Equation numbers should be Arabic numerals enclosed in parentheses on the right-hand edge of the text. They should be cited in the text as, for example, “Eq. (1)” or “Eqs. (1) – (3)”.

Should equations without number are needed, use “Equation(s)” or “equation(s)” depending on its position in the sentence. Be sure that the symbols in equations are defined before the equation appears or immediately followings.

The following equation is to solve the quadratic equation where is the independent variable, , , and are constant.

There should be one line of space above the equation and one line of space below it before the text continues.

7. Submission as Microsoft Word and PDF.

Manuscripts are to be submitted directly to website: www.fiet.kmutt.ac.th/iclist2016. Two files in a format of Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and Portable Document Format (.pdf) are required. The file size must not exceed 10 MB. When receiving the manuscript, we assume that the corresponding authors grant us the copyright to use submitted works for the ICLIST2016 proceedings.

8. ReferencesAll references must be cited in the text just by square brackets [1] or [2,3] or [4-7]. The references are to be numbered

in the order in which they are cited in the text and are to be listed at the end of the paper under a heading References. Use “reference” if it is to be appeared in the text such as “…bla bla bla as in reference [2].”

To compile the list of references, please follow the APA style as shown below: 8.1 Journal Article[1] Zimbardo, P. G., Keough, K. A., & Boyd, J. N. (1997). Present time perspective as a predictor of risky driving. Personality and Individual Differences, 23(6), 1007-1023.
