At Atlantic Appliance we provide the lowest price with highest customer service for all your appliance and electronic needs. For 43 years, our hands on, family run business, right here in the heart of Yorktown, has been able to beat big box competitors as well as being able to perform service through our service department and provide parts through our parts department. Our prices are unbeatable because we are a part of the biggest buying group in America, which has our products discounted based on the amount of volume we sell. Our general overhead expenses are much lower than our competitors. We are so confident in guaranteeing the lowest price throughout New York that we encourage customers to compare prices with other and larger appliance store. Another benefit of shopping at Atlantic Appliance is that we are solely focused on appliances, unlike much of our competitors. Our attention is dedicated on helping our customers with their appliance needs. When calling our store, you will not be juggled from department to department. We also do not put and leave you on hold while we find an experienced employee. Our qualified employees, who have been working at Atlantic Appliance from 10-40 years, as well as our owner, are all readily available to assist our consumers with their needs. Whether shopping on our website, or coming in and visiting our huge showroom, you will not be disappointed. 962-2500

January was a very busy and productive month for our Chamber. We are pleased to announce our four new board members, Bruce Apar of Apar Pr, Michael Grace of Grace & Grace , Lillian Chapman of Albert J. Chapman Agency, Inc. and John Recchia of DAS Auto Parts. On behalf of the board and the general membership I wish to extend our congratulations to them and would like to thank the past board members for their service to this organization. On January 22 we celebrated Club Fit Jefferson Valley’s 45th Anniversary at our networking meeting and on January 31, we sponsored along with Albert J. Chapman Agency, Inc. “Dealing with Sexual Harassment in the Workplace” Seminar at Town Hall. The turnout and support were outstanding. Our next evening networking meeting will take place on February 12 at 3T Logowear in Baldwin Place, NY. We hope you all will attend. Networking meetings give members a chance to rub elbows with potential clients. Think about it. Would you attend a function if you knew there were several clients attending that could use your service or product? That’s what networking meetings are and the more participation from the membership, the more successful they are for everyone. Please support our upcoming Jilco/Yorktown Chamber of Commerce Home Lifestyle & Family Show taking place Saturday, February 17, 2018 at The Jefferson Valley Mall from 11:00am to 4pm. This year we have partnered with Habitat for Humanity, a not for profit organization devoted to building homes for low income families. We have assembled a variety of vendors, speakers and special events to make that day helpful and informative to homeowners in the community. Our newest entry in special events is our SpringfFest,on March 24. Shake off those winter blues with an international celebration of Spring. It is a unique event to showcase your business. We expect over 5,000 people to attend so please contact the office for information about vendor spaces and sponsorship opportunities.
This month we are kicking off our 2018 scholarship drive. Please look for this important mailing. This program is one way the Chamber shows its commitment to our youth and to our community.I would like at this time to thank the 2018 Sponsors: Diamond: Durante, Bock & Tota, PLLC, Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory, Yorktown News, Club Fit, WHUD, Yorktown Auto Body, Frankie & Augie’z Ristorante, The Northern Westchester Examiner, Comprehensive Computers, Inc., Fieldhome. Think smalland big things will happen.
Mohegan Lake Motors opened as a small Volkswagen Dealership in 1969 on route 6. Our philosophy was... take care of all the small things and big things will happen. Treating our customers with respect and taking care of every need, and every detail no matter how small is what Mohegan Lake Motors has
Mohegan Lake MotorsRt 6 Mohegan Lake, NY (914) 528-8076
been doing for over 49 years. Today, Mohegan Lake Motors is one of the oldest and most respected Volkswagen Dealerships in the Northeast. Along the way with your support weʼve added an Audi Dealership. And even though the cars we sell today are more complex than ever, our philosophy
has never changed. Doing business this way is just our way of life. Itʼs more than just a great deal which you get, itʼs a total experience which is why so many clients continue to come back to Mohegan Lake Motors year after year. Think small and big things will happen.

We are pleased to announce our first annual
SpringFest to be held on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 2:00 - 9:00pm at the Yorktown Firehouse Carnival grounds
Shake off those winter blues with an international celebration of Spring!
International Themed Vendor Opportunity Featuring:
● Ethnic food from different cultures from all over the Hudson Valley ● Live music and dance ● Fireworks to complement the theme
We are seeking food vendors to participate by providing a variety of dishes spanning different cultures. Attached you will find the Exhibit Space Agreement. We are also looking for activity oriented vendors and organizations to engage our attendees while promoting their business. The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce is excited about the opportunity to promote local businesses here in Yorktown, as well as provide exposure to other businesses that serve Yorktown’s residents from around the Hudson Valley.
A Unique Event to Showcase Your Business
We anticipate over 5000 people of all ages to attend as it will be the first large neighborhood event after the long winter season. Food vendor space will be limited as we are looking to provide variety and we are confident that we will sell out. With that in mind, we ask each vendor to make a conscious effort to put their “best dish” forward. Each vendor who participates will only be able to sell a particular dish or dishes as we want to promote a large number of foods from a mix of ethnic backgrounds.
We are looking to provide an experiential day by incorporating groups, companies and organizations who engage our SpringFest attendees in activities such as:
● Dance ● Art ● Music ● Other Cultural Activities
