2 Sicherheitshinweise
aZielgruppe dieser Anleitung sind Elektrofachkräfte und unterwiesene Personen in Anlehnung an die
EN/IEC 60079-14.
Der Transformator ist nicht für den Einsatz in den Zonen 0 und 20 geeignet.
Der elektrische Anschluss des Betriebsmit-tels darf nur durch qualifiziertes Elektrofach-personal erfolgen.
Die Mindestanschlussquerschnitte sind beim Anschluss gemäß EN 60204-1 zu beachten.
Die auf dem Betriebsmittel angegebene Explosionsgruppe und Temperaturklasse ist zu beachten.
Für die Einhaltung der Temperaturklasse ist die zulässige Umgebungstemperatur, der Anschlussquerschnitt, sowie die maßgeblich durch die Verlustleistung bedingte Eigener-wärmung des Betriebsmittels zu beachten (Prüfkriterium für die Eigenerwärmung ist eine maximale Überlastung von 10%).
Die Temperaturklasse der kompletten Anlage oder Verteilung wird durch die Verlustleis-tung aller eingebauten Bausteine und Komponenten bestimmt.
Die maximale Wicklungstemperatur von 110 °C darf nicht überschritten werden.
Beachten Sie die nationalen Sicherheits- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften und die nachfolgenden Sicherheitshinweise in dieser Betriebsanleitung, die wie dieser Text in Kursivschrift gefasst sind!
3 NormenkonformitätDie Trenntrafos entsprechen den aufgeführten Normen, in dem separat beigelegten Konfor-mitätsattest.
Verweise auf Normen und Richtlinien in dieser Betriebsanleitung beziehen sich immer auf die aktuelle Version. Zusätzliche Ergänzungen (z.B. Jahreszahlangaben) sind zu beachten.
4 VerwendungsbereichDer Einbau des Transformators ist nur in ein für den Ex- Bereich zugelassenes Gehäuse (z.B. ein nach getrennter EU-Baumusterprüf-bescheinigung bescheinigtes Ex- e Schutz-gehäuse) in der Temperaturklasse T4 der Zonen 1 und 2 gemäß EN/IEC 60079-10-1!
Die Gehäuseschutzart muss mindestens IP54 betragen.
Ein anwendungsgerechter Korrosionsschutz muss durch das verwendete Gehäuse sicher - gestellt sein.
5 Verwendung / EigenschaftenDer Ex-e Trenntransformator dient zum Anpassen von Versorgungsspannungen für elektrische Steuerungen und Schaltungen.
Hierbei müssen die Daten unter Punkt 3 (Technische Abgaben) und Punkt 4 (Ver-wendungsbereich) beachtet werden.
Beim Betrieb sind die in der Betriebsanlei-tung unter Punkt 7 genannten Anweisungen zu beachten.
Die Verantwortung hinsichtlich Eignung und bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung dieses Trenntransformators liegt allein beim Betreiber.

6 InstallationFür das Errichten / Betreiben sind die relevanten nationalen Vorschriften (z.B. Betr.Si.V.), sowie die allgemein anerkannten Regeln der Technik maßgebend.
6.1 Montage
Bei der Montage des Ex-e Trenntrans- formators sind die Abstände zum Gehäuse gemäß Tabelle 1 Seite 2 einzuhalten. Bei Einbau mit kleineren Gehäuseabständen sind die Temperaturen am Trafo mit einer Stückprüfung zu prüfen und zu dokumen-tieren.
Die Befestigungsmaße entnehmen Sie bitte der Tabelle 1, Seite 2. Der Transformator wird mit seinen Fußwinkeln auf einer Montageplatte im Gerät mit mindes-tens 4 Schrauben angeschraubt. Beachten Sie die maximale Schraubengröße zum Befestigen der Fußwinkel (Bild 2).
Die Belegung der Anschlussklemmen entnehmen sie dem Typenschild des Transfo-mators (Bild 3). Die minimal und maximal anschließbaren Leiterquerschnitte sind zu beachten.
Die Isolation der Anschlussleitungen muss bis an die Klemme heranreichen. Der Leiter selbst darf nicht beschädigt sein.
Bei der Verwendung von mehr- oder fein-drähtigen Anschlusskabeln /-leitungen sind die Aderenden entsprechend den geltenden nationalen und internationalen Vorschriften zu behandeln (z.B. Verwendung von Aderend-hülsen).
Der Trenntransformator ist an der mit dem "Erdungszeichen" gekennzeichneten Stelle in den Potentialausgleich einzubeziehen.
Die Vor- bzw. Abgangssicherungen zum Schutz des Transformators sind entspre-chend den Zu- bzw. Abgangsdaten und der Leistung zu dimensionieren. Die Daten der Sicherungen sind in der Tabelle 1 Seite 2 aufgelistet. Auf dem Leistungsschild sind die Nenn-ströme der Vor- bzw. Abgangssicherungen angegeben.
Die Standardklemme ist zum Direktanschluss von Leitern mit Kupferadern ausgelegt.
Anschlüsse der Sekundärwicklung mit einem Anschlussquerschnitt > 16mm² sind auf separate bescheinigte Klemmen im Gehäuse zu führen. Die Klemmen müssen den elektrischen Daten auf dem Typenschild des Transformators entsprechen.
Alle Schrauben und/oder Muttern der Anschluss klemmen, auch die der nicht benutzten, sind fest anzuziehen.
Bei übermäßigem Anziehen kann der Anschluss beeinträchtigt oder beschädigt werden.
6.2 Inbetriebnahme
Vor Inbetriebnahme des Betriebsmittels sind die in den einzelnen nationalen Bestimmungen genannten Prüfungen durchzuführen.
Unsachgemäße Installation und Betrieb des Ex Trenntransformators kann zum Verlust der Garantie führen.
7 Instandhaltung / WartungDie für die Wartung / Instandhaltung von elektrischen Betriebsmitteln in explo-sionsgefährdeten Bereichen geltenden Bestimmungen der EN/IEC 60079-17 sind einzuhalten.
Vor Öffnen des Gehäuses Spannungsfreiheit sicherstellen bzw. geeignete Schutzmaßnah-men ergreifen.
Die erforderlichen Wartungsintervalle sind anwendungsspezifisch und daher in Abhängig-keit von den Einsatzbedingungen vom Betreiber festzulegen.
8 Reparatur / Instandsetzung / Änderungen
Instandsetzungsarbeiten / Reparaturen dürfen nur mit Cooper Crouse-Hinds / CEAG Originalersatzteilen vorgenommen werden.
Reparaturen, die den Explosionsschutz betreffen, dürfen nur vom Hersteller oder einer qualifizierten Elektrofachkraft in Übereinstimmung mit national geltenden Regeln durchgeführt werden.
Umbauten oder Änderungen am Betriebsmittel sind nicht gestattet.
9 Entsorgung / Wiederverwertung
Bei der Entsorgung des Betriebsmittels sind die jeweils geltenden nationalen Abfallbeseitigungs-vorschriften zu beachten.
Programmänderungen und -ergänzungen sind vorbehalten.

2 Safety instructions
aThe operations must be carried out by electrical suitably trained persons in hazardous area with
knowledge of increased safety explosion protection EN/IEC 60079-14.
The transformer is not suitable for Zone 0 and 20 hazardous areas.
The electrical connection of the device may only be carried out by trained electric staff.
When connecting the minimum wire cross section shall be in acc. with EN 60204-1.
The temperature class and explosion group marked on the apparatus shall be observed.
The permissible ambient temperature, the terminal cross section and the self-heating of the apparatus, that is mainly caused by the power dissipation are to be observed to ensure that the temperature class stated on the type label of the apparatus is main-tained. (Test criterion for the self-heating is an overload of 10%).
The temperature class of the complete installation or distribution is determined by the power dissipation of all built-in modules and components.
The maximum winding temperature of 110 °C must not be exceeded.
The national safety rules and regulations for the prevention of accidents, as well as the safety instruction included in these operating instructions, that, like this text, are set in italics, shall be observed.
3 Conformity with standardsThe transformers meet the requirements listed in the attestation of conformity, enclosed separately.
References to standards and directives in these operating instructions always relate to the latest version. Other additions (e.g. details relating to the year) shall be observed.
4 Field of applicationThe transformer may be built into enclo-sures in the type of protection ”increased safety”. When built into these Ex e enclosures, the modules are suited for use in both Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas in accordance with IEC/EN 60079-10-1.
The enclosures must have minimum type of protection IP 54.
A practical corrosion protection must be guaranteed by the used housing.
5 Application / PropertiesThe Ex-e transformer is used to adapt the supply voltage for electrical control panel an circuits.
The data according to sections 3 and 4 shall be taken into account during use.
During operation the instructions stated in section 7 of the operating instructions shall be observed.
The sole responsibility with respect to the suitability and proper use of these modules lies with the operator.

6 InstallationFor the mounting and operation, the respective national regulations (e.g. Betr.Si.V., equipment safety law for Germany) as well as the general rules of engineering will have to be observed.
6.1 Mounting
When mounting the Ex-e transformer the distances to the enclosure walls acc. table 1, pages 4 shall be maintained. When mounting the transformer in a smaller enclosure the surface temperature at the transformer shall be measured and documented.
Mounting dimensions are taken from the table see pic. 1, side 4. The transformer is mounted by means of its angled feet on a mounting plate with minimum 4 screws (page 5, fig 2). Here the maximum screw size possible for the mounting feet shall be used.
The connections for the the terminal block shall be taken from the Type label of the transformer (page 5, fig 3). The minimum and maximum connectable conductor cross sections are to be observed.
The conductor insulation must reach up to the terminal. The wire itself must not be damaged.
When using multi- or fine-wire connection cables, the wire ends shall be treated in accordance with the valid national and international regulations (e.g. use of cable end sleeves).
The isolation transformer must be connected in to the potential equalization at the point marked with the earth symbol.
The primary and secondary fuses to protect the transformer are to be rated in accor-dance to the primary and secondary data and rating. The rated currents for the primary and secondary fuses are given on the type label.
The built-in standard terminal is designed for the direct connection of conductors with copper wires.
Connections to the secondary winding with a cross section > 16 mm² shall be connected to separately certified terminals inside the enclosure. The terminals must be rated acc. to the electrical data on the type label.
All screws and/or nuts of the connection terminals, including those not in use, shall be tightened down securely.
If the screws are overtightened, the apparatus can be impaired or damaged.
6.2 Putting into operation
Before putting the apparatus into operation, the tests specified in the individual national regulations shall be performed.
Improper installation and use of the Ex e Isolation transformer can result in loss of guarantee.
7 Maintenance / ServicingThe valid national regulations for the servicing / maintenance of electrical apparatus for use in potentially explosive atmospheres shall be observed the EN/IEC 60079-17.
Prior to opening the enclosure, it is necessary to ensure that the voltage supply has been isolated or to take suitable protective measures.
The necessary intervals between servicing depend upon the specific application and shall be stipulated by the operator according to the respective operating conditions.
8 Repairs / ModificationsOnly original Cooper Crouse-Hinds / CEAG parts shall be used for carrying out repairs.
In the event of damage to the flameproof encapsulation, replacement of the respective components is mandatory. In case of doubt, the respective apparatus shall be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
Apparatus modifications or design changes are not permitted.
9 Disposal / RecyclingThe respective valid national regulations for waste disposal shall be observed when disposing of apparatus.
The product range is subject to changes and additions.

2 Consignes de sécurité
aLe transformateur ne doit pas être utilisé dans les zones 0 et 20. Le raccordement électrique de
l’équipement doit être réalisé uniquement par des électriciens qualifiés.
Lors des raccordements, les diamètres de connexion minimaux doivent être respectés selon EN 60204-1
Il faut respecter le groupe déflagrant et la classe de température indiqués sur l’équipement.
Afin de respecter la classe de température indiquée, la température ambiante, les diamètres de connexion ainsi que l’échauffe-ment consécutif aux pertes d’énergie de l’appareil doivent être pris en compte (le critère d’évaluation de l’échauffement est une surcharge de 10 %).
La classe de température de l’installation ou de la distribution complète est définie par la perte en puissance de tous les modules et composants installés.
La température d'enroulement maximum 110 °C ne doit pas être dépassée.
Respectez les prescriptions nationales de sécurité et de prévention des accidents ainsi que les consignes de sécurité indiquées en italique dans cette notice.
3 Conformité aux normesLes transformateurs correspondent aux standards listes dans l´attestation de conformité jointe séparément.
Les références aux normes et directives de ce manuel se réfèrent toujours à la dernière version. Des frais supplémentaires (par exemple, des informations à jour) doivent être respectées.
4 Domaine d’utilisationLe montage du transformateur convient uniquement à un coffret homologué antidéflagrant (p. ex. un coffret de protection Ex-e avec certification UE) dans la classe de température T4 des zones 1 et 2 selon CEI/EN 60079-10-1.
Le type de protection de coffret doit être au moins égal à IP54.
Une protection contre la corrosion conforme à la réalité doit être garantie par le logement utilisé.
5 Utilisation / CaractéristiquesLe transformateur de séparation Ex-e adapte les tensions d’alimentation aux commandes et circuits électriques.
Il faut respecter les caractéristiques des points 3 (Caractéristiques techniques) et 4 (Domaine d’utilisation) lors de l’utilisation.
Lors de l’utilisation, les directives du point 7 de la notice devront être respectées.
La responsabilité en matière de conformité de nature et d’utilisation de ce transforma-teur de séparation incombe exclusivement à l’exploitant.

6 InstallationPour l’installation / la mise en service, on appliquera les prescriptions nationales appropriées (par ex. ElexV, loi relative à la sécurité des appareillages en Allemagne) ainsi que les règles de la technique généralement reconnues.
6.1 Montage
Lors du montage du transformateur de séparation Ex-e, il faut respecter les distances aux coffret selon le tableau 1, page 2. En cas de montage avec intervalles au coffret plus faibles, contrôler et consigner les températures sur le transformateur à l’occasion d’un contrôle individuel.
Des dimensions de support sont prises de la table Page 6, Fig.1.
Le transformateur est boulonné par ses cornières d’appui sur une plaque de montage de l’appareil par au moins 4 vis. Respecter la taille de vis maximale pour la fixation des cornières.
L’occupation des bornes est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique du transformateur. Respecter les sections minimales et maximales de conducteurs.
L’isolation des lignes de raccordement doit être effective jusqu’à la borne. Le conducteur lui- même ne doit pas être abîmé.
En cas d’utilisation de câbles/lignes de raccordement à conducteurs multiples ou fins, les extrémités de conducteurs doivent être traitées selon les spécifications nationales et internationales en vigueur (par exemple utilisation de cosses d’extrémité de conducteur).
Le transformateur de séparation doit être intégré dans la liaison équipotentielle à l’endroit repéré par la „marque de terre“.
Les fusibles de puissance et de départ destinés à protéger le transformateur doivent être dimensionnés en fonction des caractéristiques d’alimentation et de départ et en fonction de la puissance. Les intensités nominales de ces fusibles sont indiquées sur la plaque de puissance.
La borne standard est conçue pour le raccorde-ment direct des conducteurs avec les conducteurs de cuivre.
Les raccordements de l’enroulement secon-daire d’un diamètre de raccordement > 16 mm2 doivent être connectés sur des bornes certifiées séparées dans le coffret. Les bornes doivent correspondre aux caractéristiques électriques de la plaque signalétique du transformateur.
Serrer à fond la totalité des vis et/ou écrous, même celles/ceux qui ne sont pas utilisé(e)s.
Un serrage excessif peut affecter ou endommager le raccordement.
6.2 Mise en service
Avant la mise ne service des appareils et tableaux de distribution, effectuer les différents tests requis par les réglementations nationales.
Une installation et une exploitation non conformes de l’installation peuvent rendre caduque la garantie.
7 Entretien / MaintenanceRespecter les dispositions de CEI/EN 60079-17 applicables à la maintenance/l’entretien des équipements électriques dans les zones déflagrantes.
Avant d’ouvrir le coffret, s’assurer de l’absence de tension ou bien adopter des mesures de protection appropriées.

8 RéparationsLes travaux de remise en état / réparation ne doivent être effectués qu’en utilisant des pièces originales de Cooper Crouse-Hinds / CEAG.
Les réparations qui concernent la protection contre les explosions ne doivent être effectuées que par le fabricant ou des électriciens qualifiés conformément au règles applicables dans le pays.
Les transformations de l’équipement ne sont pas autorisées.
9 Evacuation des déchets / Recyclage
Lors de l’évacuation de ces appareils /enveloppes, la réglementation nationale en vigueur devra être respectée.
