Slide 2 Ex 19:5 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: KJV Slide 3 Ex 19:6 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. KJV Slide 4 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Slide 5 1 Peter 2:9-10 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: KJV Slide 6 1 Peter 2:10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. Slide 7 MEDITATION. Slide 8 But you are a chosen people I am personally chosen by God himself. I am not an accident or incident, but a person specially selected. He was not just aware of me or noticed me, but he personally chose me. The Almighty God himself, knows me Slide 9 But you are a chosen people I am a product of a heavenly choice. I am a member of the community of heavenly chosen people. Each day of my life is lived under the watchful eye of the King of Kings, who of his own choice, chose me. Slide 10 a royal priesthood, I am a royal priesthood, a special heavenly priest. I am Gods priest on the planet earth. I am a priest of the King of Kings, who dictates the spiritual affairs here on earth. I am a priest from the throne of grace Slide 11 a royal priesthood, I am called to worship and to lead in worship. I am called to lead people from darkness to light. I am called to intercede for others. I am called to holiness and righteousness. Slide 12 a holy nation I am the holiness of God. I am repackaged with the virtue of Gods holiness. His holy nature is now my nature. I am a part of the Holy nation. Sin is now a complete stranger in my life. Slide 13 a holy nation I belong to a nation whose King is God. I belong to a nation dominated and ruled by holiness. Every affair of this nation is conducted by the principles of holiness. Our success in this nation is through holiness. Slide 14 a people belonging to God I am Gods possession. I am his belonging and completely his indeed. His mark of ownership is all over me. He is my master and I am his property. Therefore who can be against me! Slide 15 a people belonging to God The one who owns me is the maker of everything, seen and unseen. I am fully rested in His loving arms for He cares for me. I am no more mine but His who completely gave me a rebirth Slide 16 declare the praises of him who called you I am called to show forth his light, his goodness, his power his great signs and wonders. I am coined to show forth his beauty and perfection in all aspects of my life Slide 17 declare the praises of him who called you I am his center of attraction in the community. I am made for the admiration of his glory. I am his beauty on the planet earth. I am his center of excellence, success and glamour. Slide 18 declare the praises of him who called you Hallelujah I am clothed with the beauty of his character of joy and peace. His nature of victory and success is my garment as I journey through from eternity to eternity. Halleluiah Slide 19 out of darkness into his wonderful light. I have been called from darkness and death to eternal light and life. I now live in His wonderful light for ever and ever. Glory and praise be unto him forever Slide 20 1 Peter 2:10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. NKJV Slide 21 who once were not a people I was less than nothing, I was a nobody, I did not belong to God, I had no identity, I was an ignoble person, I was less than nothing. I was dead spiritually Slide 22 but are now the people of God But now I am his own possession, I am now his belonging. His stamp of ownership is over me. I now have an identity. I am now a citizen in Gods holy nation, a member of his household. Slide 23 who had not obtained Once I hadnt received Gods mercy, I knew nothing of His mercy. The ignorance of His mercy made me live as a stranger to His kindness. Slide 24 but now have obtained mercy. Now that I have received Gods mercy, His kindness is my light. His mercy and kindness now dominate my contemplation and give me a refreshing view of people.
