Our Jun ior work shop was run by Mark J amra . He had us s t ar t ou t by choos ing a word , and wr i t i ng i t over and over and over ag a in FOR HOURS . . . . .

My ide a about u s ing my c a lender s a s my in format ion des i gn s t ar ted out a s a good ide a to me because I h ave a lways wanted to document my day to d ay event s so t hat I c an have t hem to look a t forever. My c a lender s are l i ke my journa l , so I h ad second thought s about pu t t ing my per sona l l i f e i n to a c l a s s pro jec t .

As for the “collection” projec t , and resolv ing my logo t ype , I had no idea what I wanted to do. I thought about turn ing my ca lenders into my col lec t ion , but then what would I use for my in format ion? I t a l l s t ar ted to be ONE B IG MESSfor me and I couldn’t focus on one th ing long enough to get any th ing done!

I changed my co l l e c t ion to SCR AP PAPER [ I co l l e c t ion scr ap paper for co l l a ge ing ]

Look ing a t a l l my scr aps and see ing what a l l I ’ve done w i t h t hem , i t makes me wonder what someone e l se migh t do w i t h t he ver y s ame p iece o f scr ap paper.

So I f I p a s sed down my scr ap paper to someone e l se , t hen t hat p iece o f scr ap paper wou ld be E VOLVING . . SO MY SCR AP PAPER I S “ E VOLVE”? I f my re f i ned logot ype became some t ype o f br and ing for my co l l e c t ion wou ld t hat work?
