eVMITrack --- Vendor Managed Inventory Application
eVMITrack is a generic and flexible Vendor Managed Inventory application. The main features are :
-Runs on a Pocket PC device (Symbol, Intermec and others) running Windows CE.Net or Windows Mobile OS.
-Server side application has a middleware and it supports databases like MS ACCESS and SQL Server. This can be also interfaced with other databases such as Oracle, Sybase and DB2.
-Central Database hosted by the vendor can support 100s of clients and each client could have 1000s of items that are managed by the vendor. Each client could define multiple warehouses or locations where the items are to be shipped. For each item, the minimum, maximum and target inventory levels can be defined.
-When inventory counting is done, the reorder quantities are automatically computed and a new Order will be placed to the vendor. The system generates an email with the details like present quantity and ordered quantity of various items.
