2) Meet graduation assessment requirements through the career and college assessment system.

Districts have a number of requirements to fulfill for students’ career and college planning, but students are not required to achieve a specified score on an assessment in order to graduate or meet graduation assessment requirements.

EVHS MYPLAN District 196 and EVHS developed MYPLAN, a

personal learning plan with specified milestones established at each grade level.

Elements of MYPLAN are digitally documented on NAVIANCE Family Connection, providing a comprehensive student portfolio. All students and parents have their own individual account.

There is 24/7 login access to both NAVIANCE and the Campus Parent Portal.

The Course Planning capabilities provide tools to help students academic plans that meet graduation requirements, and help students realize their ultimate post-secondary career or college goal.

This plan will be initiated Jan. 16th when EVHS Counselors visit middle schools to assist in the Course Planning process.

HONORS RANKINGEligibility for an honors rank is based on the following:

1. 32 quarter courses of Honors/AP Core Courses (grades 9-12) (8 Quarter courses in each of the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12 grade years)

2. Students must earn a C or better for a course to count towards the total grade level minimum.

Note: This is NOT a weighted grading or ranking. It is simply a “dual” ranking system wherein only students meeting the above criteria would have an honors rank.
