If there is something that you would like added as a future University class, please let any of the community Life team know so that we can get it added to the Fall Semester! We are always looking for new and exciting classes, as well as new instructors. if you are interested Contact Dawn at 244- 3630 On Friday, May 4th, Jenni Coon, our Business Office Manager, taught a Watermark University class to residents all about Cinco De Mayo. We learned all about the origins, and meaning of the holiday. We also learned many fun and Interesting facts about Mexico. While learning we also had some fun with picture props, and authentic Mexican snacks.. If you enjoyed Jenni's class, she will be teaching another class in June. She will be teaching all about Strawberries. She will be sharing many interesting facts such as "Did you know that strawberries are a member of the rose family?". In addition to these facts we will also taste a variety of strawberry products. Hope to see you there Friday, June 15th at 2:30pm . Leah Simmons is our Everyday Hero! Leah was nominated and chosen out of hundreds of nominees. Why is Leah our Hero? Leah was quickly put into a supervisory role with many added responsibilities. If so you will definitely want to attend the upcoming Watermark University series "Exploring the Senses as we Age". In the first session entitled "Old Salty" on June 24th at 1:30pm, we will learn about the edible rock, known as salt. We will learn all about how our senses change, and how they are effected with salt. If you enjoy the first session you will definitely want to attend the next two as we will be learning about how our senses change as we age, and how our taste changes. This will definitely be a very interesting series and will be lead by our Resident Care Director Cynthia Pourzynal and Program Coordinator Dana Bergeron. Hope to see you there! On Friday, May 4th, Jenni Coon, our Business Office Manager, taught

What is an Everyday Hero? it

is a staff person who stands
