Lions and Tigers and Bears…and FLYING, OH MY!

Ever After Productions with Jonathan Humble Executive Producer, in association with Tams-Witmark Music Library proudly present, THE WIZARD OF OZ. September 12-27.

Journey through the mysti-cal, magical Land of Oz with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and Toto as Ever After Pro-ductions presents "THE WIZ-ARD OF OZ". In a celebra-tion of over 75 years of magic, this technically com-plex production follows closely the famous film while telling the story as a stage musical.

Dorothy Gale's dreams become reality when a twister strikes her Kansas home and transports her, and you, over the rainbow into the Land of Oz. You encounter the Munchkins who set Dorothy off on her adventure where she meets the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion and they set out to locate the Emerald City and the Wizard of Oz himself. Along the way, Dorothy has several encounters with the Wicked Witch of the West who wants to take the magical Ruby Red Slippers from Dorothy, as well as Glinda, a good witch who offers guidance and protection.

Journey from Kansas to

Munchkin Land to the Emerald City in the Land of Oz with Dorothy and her friends as they try to find for themselves the things they covet most; a home, a brain, a heart and courage, only to discover they possessed them all along, and that there truly is "no place like home".

“This large scale production features an incredibly talented local, and veteran, cast starring; Grayson Parker as Dorothy, Tyler Vaugn as Scarecrow, Jake Zachry as Tin Man, Kyle Conkle as The Cowardly Lion, Jan Daigle as The Wicked Witch of the West, Lexi Sandy as Toto and introducing Lauren Johnson as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. The production also features a live band, beautiful custom designed (and reimagined) costumes, incredible drops and scenery and so much more,” says Executive Producer, Jona-than Humble, “this is the Wizard of Oz, as you’ve

never seen it before.”

Ever After’s “THE WIZARD OF OZ” also features the amazing flying effects of Z F X F L Y I N G , I n c . Back Alley Productions Presents “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”

COL ONNA DE NE WSL ET TE R Page 2

Dr. Jekyll knows all too well that good and evil exists in the heart of every man, woman and child. After an experiment goes awry, Jekyll's own dual nature grows out of con-trol, making it hard for him to even recognize himself. first, Jekyll reports, he delighted in be-coming Hyde and rejoiced in the moral freedom that the creature possessed. Eventually, however, he found that he was turning into Hyde involuntarily in his sleep, even without taking the potion.

Back Alley Productions invites you to share in the suspense of "Dr.

Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," which will have the famous doctor-turned-madman portrayed by several ac-tors and actresses over the span of the play to show the Hyde in us all.

This thrilling new take on Robert Louis Stevenson's dark tale of de-pravity and horror is perfect for the Halloween season. Set on the foggy streets of London, it will of-fer local actors the chance to bring the monster of Hyde alive in their own unique way. As the commu-nity prepares to don their own alter egos for Halloween, the Colonnade will be preparing for high suspense

as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde fight for supremacy, a battle not com-pletely unlike the good and evil competing in us all.

Performances are set for:

October 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee set for Oct. 25 at 1 p.m.

General Admission. $11 Seniors and Students: $9 Groups 15 or more: $8 For tickets or info, please call the Box Office at 706-935-9000 or go online to ColonnadeCenter.org
