Seniors will be lined up along Pinecone Road from 15 th Street North to 27 th Street North in Sartell. Family, Friends, Teachers, Staff and Coaches will drive through the lineup to honk, cheer, wave and celebrate the seniors. Celebrate the Senior class of ‘20 with a drive through parade What Friday May 29 th 7:00 PM Start Date Seniors are encouraged to wear their cap and gown for the parade. Seniors will be spaced out 15-20’ apart along the path from 15th St. – 27th St. N on Pinecone. A congratulatory yard sign with their name on will designate their spot. Seniors MUST bring their completed COMMEMORATIVE NAME TILE (les/details delivered to senior homes 5/15 to 5/19) to parade. They will be collected from seniors once they are at their spot. Parade parcipants must register, and families of seniors are limited to 2 vehicles. Register at www.everythingsartell.com/senior-salute-2020 The parade parcipants are by invitaon only, no businesses or unregistered entries allowed. All parade parcipants must remain in their vehicles at all mes. Walkers are not allowed along the route. The walking path will be closed along with the road from 6:00pm-9:30pm. Parcipants will be sent instrucons on where to stage prior to parade start and volunteers will direct vehicles where and when to go. Per state and the Governor’s orders, no portable toilets will be available along the route. There will be drone and sll photography taken which will be made available to all senior families. All official event informaon will be posted on the Everything Sartell website including: Parade registraon, maps and direcons, mes and details. Event Details Not only has the city supported this idea, when told of the event they responded with, “You tell us what you need, and we’ll make it work.” Mark Bragelman, President of Liberty Bank, asked about geng all the senior’s names posted on his message board and what else he could do. When told what we were trying to pull together for the seniors, he asked how we are paying for it. He listened and then said, “I'm going to write you a check for $8000. Give these kids an amazing event. They deserve this and should know that there are a lot of us out here not directly connected to them who care and feel terrible for them.” Please be sure to show your appreciaon to Mark and Liberty Bank in Sartell! This event is being organized by a group of parent volunteers. The Friday night parade is separate from the Saturday Graduaon Ceremony the school is planning. Two different events from two different groups. Limitaons in place during this me made this necessary. We are grateful for the district’s assistance in coordinang email noficaon so that all senior families are informed.
