York Events is located on Level 2, 99 York Street at the Bowlers Club of NSW Ltd (trading as Club York ) ABN 7 000 101 5701.

Clients accessing the Function Centre must comply with all relevant club legislation along with the Bowlers Club house rules.

Menu SelectionFood and Beverage menus must be selected no less than 10 working days prior to events.

Guaranteed NumbersMinimum catering numbers are required 10 days prior to event. Final Numbers are required 4 days prior to event.Any catering order will be charged against final numbers. We will do our utmost to cater for increases on final numbers and will charge accordingly.Tentative & Quotation EnquiriesAll quotations and tentative bookings are valid for 7 days. After 7 days if no written confirmation has been received, the room will be released and the quotation may be subject to change.

ConfirmationSigned event sheet must be returned (scanned and emailed or faxed (02) 9299 7539) within 7 days of verbal agreement. A deposit payment is required to the value of the room hire (or $200.00 if no room hire is applicable) within 14 days of invoice.

CancellationWe would be disappointed if an event were to be

cancelled however, if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the scheduled event, any deposit will be reimbursed in full. With less than 30 days’ notice of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable and a cancellation fee of $200.00 is payable. Within 10 days prior to the event, any projected event costs (e.g. room hire, equipment hire, entertainment hire, catering) incurred by York Events will be billed to the Organiser.

Access to the Club (Ground floor and Level 1 including Red Room )York Events is located on Level 2 of a registered club. As a designated functions area guests are not required to sign in.

Should you or your guests wish to utilise the facilities on the other levels they will be required to follow the rules of the Registered Clubs Act

Stolen or DamagedAccidents can happen; any theft or damage to the Club or York Events property is the responsibility of the Organiser. It is understood that the Organisers are financially responsible for any damages and theft sustained to the Club’s equipment, property and its premises. Full replacement cost will apply for all the above stated.

SecuritySecurity Guard(s) for functions held within the York Events are at our discretion however, Security Guard(s) are mandatory for all 18th and 21st birthday events. Charges apply.Meeting Room AllocationYork Events reserves the right to change meeting

York Events has the right to cancel any event without liability, if we believe that it will affect the smooth running of our operation. Up to 1 months’ notice will be given by York Events.

Club Lift, Building Lifts and Level 2 RegulationsThe Lifts to level 2 are open for 30 minutes prior to bookings and 30 minutes after scheduled completion. Guests are required to sign in to club should they wish to use ground floor and level 1 facilities.

PaymentPayment for all pre-ordered catering and equipment is required no less than 7 days before event date. Settlement of all incidental charges is required on completion of event.

Please ensure remittance advice is forwarded and event reference number is noted with payment.

Accounts may be made available by prior agreement.
