During 2017, Epic Events Management (EEM) will be running four active, outdoor, annual events.


Epic Events Management began with Mountain Biking Events. In 2014, we introduced Trail Runs to our event list, and for 2017 we will be releasing new trails to integrate

into our courses and events.

The award-winning Flight Centre Cycle Epic is a great mountain biking tradition that began in 2002 with a bunch of mates challenging themselves. In 2003, the inaugural Australian mountain bike marathon started a new era in the sport. The EPIC weekend has something for everyone, from novice riders and runners through to professionals of each discipline.

The 99 Bikes Dingo Duo provides Fun and Entertainment for the whole family. RUN only, RIDE only, TEAM challenge and the full DUATHLON options including an event just for the KIDS. Sunday’s ENDURO event takes over the park with four timed sections riders complete as many times as desired with the fastest combined time winning.

Held on the Saturday of the Epic weekend, the Trail Run Epic consists of two events – a 4.2km, 11.5km and Half Marathon Trail Run distances. Competitors can challenge themselves by participating in both the Half Marathon Trail Run Epic and the 87km Cycle Epic for the chance at the title of “Male/Female of EPIC Endurance!”

ABOUT OUR EVENTS

The ‘Merida Hidden Vale 24HR’ is a Solo, Team Relay and Kids mountain biking event starting at 12pm Saturday and finishing at 12pm Sunday. Riders compete for medals, prizes and bragging rights. It’s a Easter themed weekend filled with camaraderie, Easter activities and fun!
