You are cordially invited to help make a difference for people ready to overcome poverty in Chicago by becoming a sponsor of a Cara fundraising event.

Throughout the year, Cara hosts five signature events that bring together hundreds of our area’s civic, philanthropic, and business leaders to support our mission. We are well-known for our “parties with a purpose,” but we cannot do this without your support.

As a sponsor you will …

• Align your brand with Cara’s national reputation as a leader in poverty alleviation and social enterprise development.

• Demonstrate your commitment to bolstering Cara’s mission to create and secure employment opportunities for the thousands seeking to lift themselves out of poverty each year.

• Promote your brand to individuals, thought leaders, and partners across the Chicago corporate community and within Cara’s network of supporters:

For nearly 30 years, Cara has prepared motivated individuals affected by homelessness and poverty to get and keep quality jobs. Our mission is to unlock the power and purpose within our communities and ourselves to create real and lasting success. Through our personal and professional skills development and access to employment opportunities, Cara serves as a leader of poverty alleviation in Chicago and beyond. And the results are staggering: more than 70% of people placed into permanent jobs keep that job after one year and beyond. People once living in shelters finally earn enough money to rent an apartment, familes are reunited, and lives are forever transformed. By working, these motivated men and women earn back their dignity and their hope and our whole city is better as a result.
