WELCOMEHeld over the Melbourne Cup long weekend, this iconic festival is one of the most anticipated

events on the local calendar and showcases the best wines and gourmet food from around the Surf Coast, Moorabool Valley and Bellarine Peninsula.

The two-day event just an hour out of Melbourne offers guests the chance to taste, drink and eat their way across a selection of award-winning wineries while enjoying the picturesque vineyard settings and live entertainment. Now in it’s 17th year, Toast to the Coast is a true

celebration of our unique Geelong wine region, the perfect day out or weekend away, and also includes a multitude of family-friendly venues.

Weekend passes include a commemorative take-home Geelong Wine glass which doubles as your passport to free wine tastings at all host vineyards. This year’s event is set to be a sell-out

BASILS FARM Enjoy wine tastings of the Basil’s Farm range of handcrafted wines including Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and more! For fun, sip a “GinSecco” featuring “The Whiskery” Bellarine Gin and Basils Prosecco. A delicious Bellarine bouty menu including Antipasto Platters and “Bush to Bay-Walk n Fork” dishes. Toast weekend we will also launch a new taste sensation the Basils Farm “Ginsecco” a delicious cocktail featuring the Bellarine’s own Gin from The Whickery and Basils Farm Prosecco with seasonal flavours.

FOOD “Bush to Bay - Walk and Fork” Our menu will be designed around our own Basils Farm produce and locally farmed produce, ingredients foraged from the bush or fished from the bay. The “Walk and Fork” idea is for guests to choose a dish and be free to walk around, or choose multiple dishes to share with friends, tapas style.

SCOTCHMANS HILLTake a wander down to Scotchmans Road on the 3rd and 4th of November to taste award winning cool climate wines incuding our new vintages of our refreshing Swan Bay range. Our award-winning Scotchmans Hill wines are not to be missed either. All in the Barrel Halle of the original Bellarine Winery! Live music will be played on both days Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm presenting Scotchmans Hill’s very own resident musician, Alex Vaux-Miller playing Pop and Folk music. Why not make a day of it and stay for luch; the chefs from locally owned ‘PikNik’ will be joining in on the festivities in the barrel hall and will have a variety of meals available. Before you head off, pick up one of the special wine packs we are offering in that weekend only to celebrate the new vintages!
