ARTIST WORKSHOP: STEVEI HOUKAMAU - CERAMACISTSat 12 Aug, 10.45am - 3.45pm Sarjeant On The Quay $30 per person, materials provided. Spaces limited to 15. Wellington-based artist Stevei Houkamau’s work is included in the exhibition in Whenua Hou: New Māori Ceramics. Join Stevei for a workshop to create a small ipu (vessel to fit in the hand) from uku (clay) using coiling and other techniques. These will then be decorated using Maori and Pacific inspired motifs.
