Throughout the whole process of creating my A2 music video I used many different technologies for both the music video and the portfolio production of my blog, the first technology I used was word press. Word press is a website to create free blogs I created one of these to hold all of my work for the research and planning stages of my music video. I used a lot of technologies for the research and planning stages for example; prezie, slide share, polyvore, Photoshop bubbl all of these websites are all completely different and showed that i have the knowledge to use a wide range of interactive technology's.

By using the interactive technology of polyvore I could show

the outfits that my character was going to wear in my music

video without actually having to show the character, this was

an effect use of media technology as I could then place it straight onto my blog with the rest of my research and

planning. Another technology I then used was slide share I

used Microsoft power point a lot throughout the making of

my production portfolio for example using is to make many 9

shot analysis of other indie music videos, however you can not upload a PowerPoint presentation straight to word

press, so I had to upload them to slide share which I can then

get a html code to put it onto my blog, Another good media

technology I used was prezi. Prezi is an online mind map

creater where you can use many different layouts and themes to create the perfect presentation by using prezi it

showed that I can use interactive mind map presentations

just as well as drawing my own! however I felt that doing it

interactively was a lot easier and more effective looking.

A very important media technology that I used was Photoshop, without Photoshop I would not have been able to create the matching ancillary texts of the digipak and magazine article I had used Photoshop before but I was not the best at navigating around it, when using it this time to make these products ilearned how to use it properly and how to make everything look effective for example when doing my magazine article through Photoshop I managed to make it look very professional and of a high quality. Photoshop is a really good technology for editing pictures and turning them into something else.

The other really important media technology used was iMovie as again without iMovie I would not have been able to create my finished music video, I did use iMovie last year to create my year 12 thriller however I just used the simple cuts and effects whilst this year I developed the use of iMovie and enhanced my knowledge on the technology further for example, I speed up different scenes to make it look like time had gone faster and I also used short choppy cuts to make the video look like it had special effects of the character disappearing and reappearing. I also used I move to change the contrast of the raw footage to give it the effect that I wanted it to have, more dark and eerie.

Lastly I used another media technology

for my evaluation, I used a wix blog

maker so I could put my evaluation on

there so it would be easy to look at as it is

interactive also it then doesn't get mixed

up with all of my research and planning

work.
