We chose to do an interview instead of a just having an magazine advertisement page as it has more information about the characters and program. People can be influenced to watch the show by building a connecting with someone in it. Doing an interview shows of peoples personality and the audience feel like they are talking to them therefore building a relationship.

Reveal was our main focus as it is a magazine brought by young adults and is distributed weekly therefore is up to date and can regularly publish information about our documentary.

This magazine in a connection to the show, it continues to correlate with the theme by the fonts and colour format. These makes it easy for the audience to identify and link with the other elements to do with What The.

Keeping the same front:-

Colour scheme follows reveals colour scheme but mainly we used black, yellow and red. These were easy colours to use in order to high light meaningful areas.

I am happy with my magazine as I feel it really fits in with the magazines themes due to the layout, colours and positioning. Reveal is a magazine that is perfect for our audience therefore would be successful at advertising to the right audience. I feel it meets the criteria and supports our documentary through image and words.

Billboards need to be eye catching but relevant to the documentary as the audience that will be affected by this are drivers and pedestrians. As our documentary focuses on teens and young adults having something like this as an additional attraction is vital due to the majority of people who listen to the radio are drivers. Young people can drive therefore you have too look at other ways of insuring you are advertising to the right people and how you go about doing it.

EXAMPLES

Displayed on our billboard is the time, programme and day this is all the audience needs in order to tune in. The title is the main feature as repeated 3 times as that is the most significant thing about it.Continuing to use the same font was continuity element, making sure the images and identification is clear.

We felt that our billboard was similar to others, from modelled it against a varies of others we researched that one image is enough and writing need to be limited and large

Our radio ad needed to be short, punchy but informative. All the essential information needed to be said within a time limit. We recorded all the girls to see which one would be best effective however we began to realise we could use them all.

I feel our radio ad is successful as the music was made first hand on Logitech. The drums were created using ultabeat synthesizer in logic, then lopped them through the 40 second's. The rest on the instruments are created using ES2 synthesizer and then after looping them all in began playing the pitches and loops making sure they all synchroniser. I added a rising filter just before the chorus by using automation to rise the EQ, gradually building up throughout the song.

Radio is something young adults will listen to when in the car. People aged 17 and over tend to spend a lot of time in the car as they are learning. We did our research into the best radio station for the show buy asking a variety of people. This makes is more successful as it is more meaningful and would have a positive impact on the documentary. The most people see and hear about it the more it is spread and watched.
