Front Cover 1

When I took this photo the intentions were to create a cover which shows my model resisting eating chocolate which is a popular new years resolution. This image fulfils my intentions because it shows my message clearly with my models hand faced towards the chocolate as trying to resist it. The image is appropriate because I have used a teenage model and I have used chocolate in the picture which teenagers like. The meaning created in the image is that you can resist the temptation so of chocolate.

The image and text work well because the plain background makes the text stand out. The image created is that my model is resisting the temptations of the chocolate. this is appropriate for my target audience because people of any age can make a new years resolution but some are harder to follow than others. it fulfills my intentions because anyone who looks at my main cover line and the image can instantly link the two together.

My intentions when I took the photograph were to show a student who had just finished a piece of coursework and looked proud of himself and very relieved to suit my main cover line. The final image fulfils my intentions because my model does look very relieved having finished a piece of work. The image is appropriate because a lot of teenagers get very stressed especially with their coursework or exams. The meaning created is that you don’t have to freak out with your work and that you should be proud of your work.

The image and text work well together because i have a colour scheme that runs throughout my magazine covers, the text also matches the colours on my cover. The meaning shows the relation between college work and stress, it also shows a variety of things teenagers show interest in. The cover is appropriate because each cover line relates to a variety of different teenagers. This fulfills my intentions because it gets the message across well.

My intentions were to make an image which would apply to a large teenage audience. My image fulfils this because “selfies” are very popular. it is appropriate because teenagers are well known for creating the phrase selfie. the meaning created shows my model enjoying himself taking a selfie.

The combination of the text and image work well because they are ordered to look organised on the cover. the meaning created is that it shows a variety of cover lines that represent teenage life. it is appropriate because the image links to my main cover line well. The cover fulfills my intentions because it looks well organised and formatted.

My intentions were to make an image that will appeal to a lot of teenagers. The final image fulfils my intentions because music is very popular amongst teens. the image is appropriate because teenagers like to show their taste in music through band merchandise. the meaning created is that you should show of your favourite band t-shorts like the model in my image.

The combination between text and image works well because it looks very casual which appeals more to teens. the meaning created is the more relaxed lifestyle that teenagers have. it is appropriate because teenagers wear a lot of their favourite bands merchandise. it fulfils my intentions because the cover is organised and easy to read.
