Evaluation

For this unit I had to complete research on photography techniques and produce my own images. decided to base my photos on macro and wildlife. I did this because macro and wildlife photos are the most interesting to me.

Research

First I looked at different styles of photography this helped me get a better understanding of the different styles of photography e.g. aerial, macro and abstract.

I also had practice at taking all the different types of shot. This helped me get use to the camera.

In my research I used websites to get ideas for photos. The websites I used were Magnum photos.

We also made a collage. Mine was full of only macro and wildlife photos.

When we started taking our photos we went to the ELBS class to take pictures of the animals. We took a picture of a gerbil, hedgehog, snake and guinea pig. The pictures I got I edited them in Photoshop. When I took my photos I used a tripod and camera.

My favourite photos are the picture of the drain pipe and the picture of the guinea pig
