about Music and expertise in those areas like HMV. •Big Supermarkets like Sainsbury's, Tesco , Asda etc.

What are their aspirations and how does your magazine address these?• Rock artists that have had rough times in their life address to people that can relate to them. •Rock artists that are having rough times in their lives now , people can relate to them .

What are their demographics?• My magazine is for any race, White, Black, Asian etc.• Young adults that are into rock music, and thoroughly enjoy what they hear, and what they see.•Rokk Muzika is for everyone, doesn’t matter where theylive, however the magazine is only in England so it has tobe based round these areas.

•What specific techniques did you use?• I used relative imagery, a picture of a Black Veil Brides member with a fan.• The dark colors, like Black and Red to catch readers attention as they are well combined. •The image is in the centre so its very clear and easy to spot•The masthead is big and bold, very eye-catching • I used rock related text to make the magazine look more rock related, and the rock words are in bold.

How did you manipulate representations?•I took a variety of photos for my magazine so I could have a clear choice of what to put where.•I put the one with the Black Veil Brides band member as my main feature image on my contents page because it would be more eye-catching for the readers to see a Black Veil Brides member on the front cover, it will intrigue them to read on . •For my contents page I used around 5 images including band members getting ready for concerts, concert images and new up- coming artists. This is to give the readers a clue on what the magazine is about without reading the text.•For my double page spread I used two images which show influential purposes for a rock music magazine.

What range of technologies are available?•I used a computer when making my magazineat home and at college.

What hardware and what software is available?• I used many software's for my magazine,, all for different things.•InDesign for text and fonts •Photoshop to sharpen the images and crop out unwanted pieces•Google to gather information and images for preliminary exercise, for contents for articles and for our comparative power points. •Word press to upload all work on my blog.

How accessible are they?

• I had to book my computer in order to do the work. How difficult/easy are they to use?• InDesign was tricky to use at times because I hadnever worked with that before, so it was a challengeadjusting to everything on the program. •Photoshop wasn’t too hard apart from getting the imageon one background to another.•Using Word press was also tricky at the beginning when we were first introduced to it but we soon got the hang of it.

Page 9: Evaluation

What skills have you learnt?• I have learnt how to use InDesign properlyand can do most of the things on there if needed. •Also how to create a good layout for my magazine.•I have also learned how to upload images and power points, and word documents on Word Press blog.
