This camera was a key piece of equipment that I required to make my music video as it was the camera I used to film the clips of my actress.

One of the few issues I encountered when using this particular camera was that the image quality was not crystal clear so when I filmed my protagonist lip syncing, due to the image quality it was hard to see that her lips were moving.

Another issue was the battery life. The camera’s battery wasn’t the best and so I had to make sure that the camera was fully charged before filming.

This was again another key piece of equipment I used whilst filming my music video. This is because it was used to make sure that when I wanted the camera to be stationary and steady it was the equipment for the job.

It took a while for me to get used to all of the levers that made it move and so some shots had to be filmed again due to me using the wrong lever.

One last issue I had with the tripod was that it sometimes wasn’t tall enough for what I wanted to film. For this I improvised and used other objects such as books to make it higher.

This is the first piece of editing software that I used in order to edit together all of my clips. I came across a few issues when I was doing this.

Firstly when I had finished editing it together and watched it back on the program there were red flashed between clips. I had encountered the same problem in year 12 and so I looked into different ways of editing on the same program.

Secondly when I came to render my video together at the end, it produced an error message that stated ‘error compiling video’. This happened multiple times and so I decided to change editing programs. (see next slide)

I decided to change the editing program to iMovie instead as other members in my class had used it and their coursework had been produced fine when edited.

After using iMovie, I found editing my clips together a lot easier than Adobe Premiere Pro. This is because the trimming of a clip and adding in transitions was a simpler task to perform. There were keyboard shortcuts to aid the editing.

If I was to make another video or similar then I would use iMovie due to its simple ease of access.

Also editing the audio was easier than on Adobe due to the trimming tool.

In order to make my ancillary tasks I used Photoshop on an Apple Mac. I had a little tutorial from a teacher on some of the aspects of it however most of what I have done with the ancillary tasks was through process of elimination.

It is quite a straightforward program to use once the user understands what is what. It was an important program to use as it helped me to change colours of clothes and skin tones. It also helped me add an arm into my ancillary task!

This was an important piece of software when it came to making my music video. It has helped me to blog everything that I have been doing to show everyone the progress made.

As I used the same blogging site as last year I was familiar with how it worked. There isn’t much change to it apart from aesthetics.

I was able to just get on with and use Tumblr as I had used it before. The only main issue I have with Tumblr is that it is not liked very much by my school’s computers and it does take a while to upload anything.

This is another key piece of software that I have used in the making of my music video.

It had a big part to play in the research part of my coursework as I found some information on this site from other students in the same situation.

Other students made similar powerpoints to me however theirs may have had different ideas and thoughts on them that I could take inspiration from. It has also helped to upload

powerpoints to my blog on Tumblr to show any research and ultimately this evaluation.
