Evaluation

In many ways my front cover uses the codes and conventions of a magazine cover by using a medium close up as the main image and making the title bold and clear to see, also making the sub heading clear, however if I was to do it again I would make the title a lot bigger and change some of the text colour.

The contents page also follows most of the codes and conventions of a magazine contents page it has a main image and sub images and text with different font page numbers to stand out if I could do it again I would change the colours and edit the pictures so they fit more.

For the magazine cover I used photo shop I had used this in previous years of school so was easy when I got reminded what everything did and where everything was.

The contents page was different we used a completely different software we used a program called Quark Express learning to use the new software was hard but with help I was able to make a contents page.

I definitely have more strengths with using Photoshop on front covers as I have had more experience however I still have my weaknesses.

With the contents page I did struggle it was definitely a weakness trying to learn and I don’t think the contents page was my strong point.
