I used YouTube to watch short films before I decided what type of shot film to make. It was nice to see what could be achieved

I used Google to help me find everything I needed, like Glogster and blogger. Even if I couldn’t remember the names Google would find them for me.

We used a camera to take all the photos for our short film. We must have taken over 3,000 in total! Keeping the same camera throughout was important so the quality on the image didn’t suddenly change half way through.

We used a Mac for more or less everything, we did our research on them, edited on them and presented the final thing on them. Without the Mac non of this would have been possible.

We needed to upload our photos to iPhoto in order to use them on the Mac, we stored all our images on iPhoto as it was much easier and didn’t mess our desktop up with lots of images.

Importing the images into iMovie let us put them all together one after another so you could see all the images on screen, them it let us play all our images at whatever speed we wanted. Thus creating our short film.

After our short film was created we opened it up into Final Cut Pro to add music and a title sequence, as it’s the simplest program to use for things like that.

I use blogger quite a lot, everything I do in relation to my short film goes on my blog for the examiner to mark at the end of the year.

I used Prezi to create my film pitch to the class, it was fun and interactive to use and a nice change from PowerPoint. I think the class enjoyed looking at my Prezi more than if I had just produced a PowerPoint

I used Glogster to create a movie poster earlier in the year, I didn’t warm to it though and still prefer to use Photoshop!

Photoshop is my favorite thing to use so I tried to use it as much as possible, I used it for my short film movie poster and I had another film poster using it. I find it much easier to use rather than the other design programs.

I had never used InDesign before and was weary to use it, I thought I could just use Photoshop for my magazine interview but when I got round to using it I realized for that kind of thing it was perfect and very very easy.
