If on leave during fall of evaluation year, evaluate faculty in following year and every third year after thatIn non-evaluation year, tenured faculty submit course materials, college service activities, and student advisement log but these are not evaluated and are returned to faculty. Deficiencies should be noted, however.
Post-Tenure ReviewArticle 13A
This is mandatory for tenured faculty member given unsatisfactory evaluation.Faculty member can resign instead.Immediate supervisor is responsible for developing post-tenure review professional development plan by May 1 of evaluation year, with input from the faculty member and the Post-Tenure Review Professional Development Plan Committee

President or designee is responsible for determining administration of process, including who shall administer the form.Student evaluation packets given to faculty during second or third to the last week of class.Faculty may not be in classroom during evaluation by students.Evaluation form is in contract – Form E-2

Raw data are kept for one year and faculty may see them on written request.Evaluator evaluates tabulated data and sends evaluation to faculty.Faculty have seven working days to respond.

Faculty submit to Evaluator by end of first week of classes in each session a course syllabus, which must contain all the items on Checklist (Form E-1).Prior to receiving payment for session, faculty must give Evaluator copies of all major exams.Evaluator may seek information from other sources when evaluating materials.
DCE Faculty – Article 11.04: Classroom Observation
Required at least once for those who have not met threshold.Classroom observation on Form E4.Evaluator may conduct classroom observation for any faculty but must state reasons.Results of observation are sent to faculty in writing.Evaluator must provide opportunity for faculty to discuss and to respond in writing.
DCE Faculty – Article 11.05: Comprehensive Evaluation
Evaluator reviews performance, including student evaluation, classroom observation, and all material in personnel file, and evaluate, in writing.Faculty has right to respond in writing.
DCE Faculty – Article 11.06: Outside Entity Courses
Courses offered through outside entity are not subject to this article except…If general public have enrolled in the course, the student evaluation shall be administered.Also, outside entity can require its own form of evaluation.
DEPARTMENT CHAIR EVALUATION - Article 20.08
Annual evaluation due March 30Evaluation is based on tasks that were established by department chair and evaluator.Unit members also evaluate (Form XX-1 or XX-2), form to be administered by evaluator.Unit member evaluations are anonymous unless department chair is non-reappointed based on them.
