It is with great pleasure that we announce the 7th Emirates Interna�onal Urological Conference & 15th Annual Arab Associa�on of Urology Conference (EUSC 2018) to be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority, in collabora�on between the Emirates Urological Society – Emirates Medical Associa�on and Arab Associa�on of Urology, at Conrad Hotel Dubai from 31st October – 3rd November 2018

EUSC 2018 has made its mark in the region as the leading urological mee�ng that con�nues to grow in terms of par�cipa�on for over 40 countries, providing the highest level of educa�on in urology field and helping urologists in the region to strengthen and promote the prac�ce of urology medicine and improve the quality of pa�ents. The collabora�on brings about significant and innova�ve ideas to be included in this year’s conference.

EUSC 2017 scored 95% sa�sfac�on with the quality of speakers and 92% rated the scien�fic program as excellent a�es�ng to the quality of the scien�fic program and tremendous support from the industry and we trust that EUSC 2018 will even achieve greater success.

In 2018, the scien�fic program will feature a rich educa�onal agenda that will focus on the present and future of Urology from latest research and knowledge, to technical advancements. Prominent prac��oners and experts will be invited to head-line the scien�fic program and share their knowledge.

The support and ac�ve par�cipa�on of the leading pharmaceu�cal companies and equipment companies specialized in the field of urology had been always our strong pillar and we look forward to renew our collabora�on with our key industry partners and to welcome new ones on board!

About Emirates Urological Society

BackgroundThe Emirates Urological Society (EUS) was launched in May 2011 as a sub specialty of the Emirates Medical Associa�on (EMA.)

The EUS mission is to strengthen and promote the prac�ce of urology medicine to improve the quality of life of the people of the UAE; support the promo�on of healthcare awareness; foster maintaining high standards of care in urological medicine by facilita�ng access to the latest innova�ons and quality scien�fic and medical educa�on to meet the needs of its members.

EUS con�nuously aims to collect, collate and disseminate knowledge and innova�ons concerning the educa�onal, research and service provision aspects of the urology prac�ce by encouraging and suppor�ng the development of academic organisa�ons of urologist physicians and represen�ng the UAE before regional and interna�onal organisa�ons and at mee�ngs and forums concerned with health and medical care.

EUSC – Emirates Urological Society “Annual” Mee�ngThe EUS launched the first version of its annual mee�ng “EUSC 2012 – 01st to 03rd Nov 2012” to provide a forum for exchange that represents the consensus view of leading interna�onal urological faculty and organisa�ons from around the world. The mee�ng was a well a�ended by local, regional and interna�onal delega�ons.

The second version “EUSC 2013” was held under the Patronage of HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan – UAE Minister of Culture, Youth & Community Development and in collabora�on with the European Associa�on of Urology (EAU.)

In 2014, EUS signed a collabora�on agreement with the world leading Societe Interna�onale D’ Urologie (SIU) to host its first Regional Focus Mee�ng and the combined mee�ngs were promoted as the “Emirates Interna�onal Urology Conference 2014”, in collabora�on with the European Associa�on of Urology (EAU) and the Arab Associa�on of Urology (AAU.)

The third version “EUSC 2014 -14th and 15th Nov 2014 was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum – Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority.

The fourth Emirates Interna�onal Urological Conference (EUSC 2015) held from 4th – 7th November 2015 featured joint symposia between the Emirates Urological Society and the most renowned interna�onal urological socie�es, specifically the AUA, EAU, ESSM, SIU and UAA. It also featured a catheterisa�on workshop targeted at nurses that likewise a�racted a significant number of delegates.

The fi�h Emirates Interna�onal Urological Conference (EUSC 2016) held from 15th – 17th December 2016 was held Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority.

The sixth Emirates Interna�onal Urological Conference (EUSC 2017) was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority and in collabora�on with the 28th World Congress on Videourology & Advances in Clinical Urology between 8th -11th November 2017.

BackgroundAAU is represen�ng millions of popula�on and should be the leader of providing the highest level of health care in urology field and helping urologists in the region to be con�nuously updated in their knowledge and clinical prac�ce.

Not only must the exis�ng ac�vi�es be con�nued with the proper methods but the underlying organiza�on problems must be solved and new innova�ng ac�vi�es to be created. Therefore, the need for a comprehensive strategic plan has evolved.

VisionTo be a leading Urological Associa�on of the Arab world with an interna�onal level.

MissionAAU is a non-profit organiza�on with a mission to connect all Arab na�onal socie�es to provide their members a high standard level of educa�on, research and clinical prac�ce.

Objec�ves• To be a stream for scien�fic presenta�on of Arab world• To be a channel between east and west• Provide a con�nuous medical educa�on to all urologists allover the Arab countries.• To be a pla�orm for training to young urologists• Suppor�ng and raising the level of Arab Journal of Urology• Supplying the best health care to urology pa�ents in remote areas of the Arab world

The AAU conference is rota�ng every year between different Arab countries, ini�ally it was organized every other year, but from 2013, due to the increasing demand of gathering the Arab urologists more frequently, it has been changed into an annual conference star�ng in Iraq 2013 followed by Kuwait 2014, Jordan 2015, Sudan 2016, Egypt 2017, and ended this year 2018 in Dubai, UAE.

The AAU board of director is welcoming the joint conference with Emirates Urological Society and believe that Dubai will a strong hub of gathering the Arab urologists world wide.
