A high-profile forum bringing together executives, investors, fund managers, entrepreneurs and top-tier consultants from across Europe to share key

insights on emerging opportunities in private markets and to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges and risk scenarios

EURUS is an international private capital forum with a mission to contribute to a thriving European-Russian-CIS

investor community. Its activities are designed to boost cooperation among market participants, to enable opportunities across a spectrum of private capital investments with positive, spillover effects on local, regional

economies and other areas of social life.

A forward-looking, business-oriented, executive-level platform with no special or ideological interests, EURUS aims to achieve its mission by pursuing four core objectives: a) enhanced business relations between market participants

in Europe/CEE, Russia and the CIS; b) deal-making and networking opportunities; c) sharing of expertise and industry best practices; d) quality relationships at executive and senior management level.

WELCOME TO EURUS 2016

On behalf of ABA – Invest in Austria, I welcome all EURUS 2016 delegates to Vienna for the inaugural

private capital forum.

At ABA, we understand the importance of providing practical advice and solutions to businesses

charting in less known territories. EURUS does, in many similar ways, create a collaborative

environment whereby the broader European investor community can exchange ideas, know-how and

nuances impacting investment decision-making. “Leap to Performance”, this year’s theme,

underscores the objective of the forum to facilitate growth and higher returns across a number of

alternative investment asset classes.

The range of topics, the caliber of speakers and the diverse background of delegates demonstrate the

quality of exchanges and interactions EURUS aims to achieve. I congratulate the organisers for the

rich programme they developed and the impressive roster of international speakers they recruited for

this year’s event.

All of the members of ABA – Invest in Austria wish you a superb conference experience and a

memorable stay in Vienna!

WELCOME TO EURUS 2016

On behalf of the Russian Venture Capital Association (RVCA), I am pleased to welcome all the

participants of the international forum EURUS 2016.

Forming strong partnerships between market participants globally is the priority goal in building

harmonious and balanced investment ecosystem. Russia and Europe have always sought mutually

beneficial cooperation based on traditionally good, neighborly relationships. We are inextricably linked

- historically, culturally and economically, and it is imperative that we develop and strengthen these

ties while seeking new common grounds.

EURUS Forum 2016 serves to a noble goal: bringing together under one roof leaders of European

and Russian private equity and venture capital markets – an initiative that will undoubtedly produce a

cumulative effect and help participants to move to a new level of cooperation and mutual

understanding, setting the tone for developing strategic partnerships in the future.

I sincerely wish all the guests and participants of the forum productive exchanges, effective

networking and negotiations, interesting and constructive meetings, and good luck in building new

partnerships.

Albina Nikkonen

CEO, RVCA
