Peace and security• In the 21st century Europe still faces some

security issues. • The European Union must take effective

measures to guarantee a successful national security. It has to work constructively with the regions just beyond its borders - the Balkans, North Africa, the Caucasus and the Middle East.

• It must also protect its military and strategic interests by working with allies, particularly NATO, and the establishment of a common European security and defense policy.

• EU an 'area of freedom, security and justice ", where everyone has equal access to justice and protection of the law, it is a new challenge that requires close cooperation between governments. institutions such as Europol, the European Police Office, and Eurojust, which promotes cooperation between prosecutors, judges and police officers in different EU countries, have to be more stronger and more effective.

Towards a common European judicial area

• Currently, the European Union have many different judicial systems, each within its territory. If the EU wants to ensure justice for all, the justice system must make people daily lives easier rather than more difficult.

• The EU need to adopt act so that judgments in one country are applicable in another countries.

Single Market

• The Single Market, which was launched in 1992nd year, has come for the benefit of all and have created new opportunities. However, free goods, services, capital circulation and movement of people are not always conducted as smoothly as hoped.

• In some areas there is still no developed integrated European market. In administrative barriers and lack of proper implementation of the measures, the single market potential is not being fully exploited.

• It is necessary to achieve confidence in the single market, as it will contribute to economic growth. Europe must act decisively to show that the single market brings its social progress and is beneficial for consumers, workers and small businesses.

• European Union promotes the human rights and defends them both within its territory and in its relations with third countries.

• In general situation in EU is good, but it’s not perfect. And we as a society can make this situation better.

• Frequently, Europeans take the protection of human rights for granted, ignoring deficiencies that still persist.

• Although recent studies show that the attitude towards gay men and lesbians is becoming more tolerant in many societies, homophobia as a fear or hostility towards gay people still continues to be an important issue of our current community.

• Severe deficiencies concerning LGBTI awareness are still prominent in the education sector.

• Incidents of harassment and bullying are commonly reported in educational institutions.

• Another factor hindering the further adoption of LGBTI rights are religious.

• Some religious groups and figures go as far as to mobilize demonstrations against LGBTI events.

• The Universal Declaration of Human Rights entitles every human being to enjoy his or her human rights and civil liberties without fear of being discriminated or violated against. Therefore, where do LGBTI stand?
