Canadian power company Northland is 60%
owner of the 600 MW Gemini offshore wind
project. Located 85 km off the Netherlands
coast, Gemini generates 600 MW, meeting
the annual energy needs of one and a half
million people and reducing the annual
CO2 emissions of the Netherlands by 1.25
million tons. Gemini is one of the largest
offshore wind farms in the North Sea, and
one of the largest in the world. Northland's
project team reached financial close for
Gemini in May 2014 and the project was
completed in April 2017, ahead of schedule

Canadian Solar
Canadian Solar will fund the construction of
a 151MWp portfolio of Italian solar projects
with a €55 million bilateral revolving credit
facility from Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo.
The projects will be equipped with
Canadian Solar HiKu CS3W-425 modules
and be capable of producing
approximately 287GWh of solar power per
year. The bilateral revolving credit facility will
fund 12 projects in Sicily, Apulia and Lazio.
