Bridging knowledge across specialties, not only is the theme of this year’s congress but also among the main reasons to participate in this scientific initiative. ECMP 2018 will facilitate the synergy between industry, research, and clinical practice that may ultimately lead to improvements in health care.

In line with the 1st ECMP, we have invited a national medical physics socie-ty as Welcome Nation to organize three sessions as part of the congress programme. This year we are pleased to welcome Germany (DGMP).

Equally, we are pleased to welcome the following societies, present via the joint sessions: ESTRO, AAPM, COCIR, EFRS, IAEA, EANM, ESMRMB, ESR and EUSOMII. Thursday and Friday, the joint sessions are scheduled 14.00-15.00, and Saturday 11.00-12.00.

During the breaks, you will have the opportunity to meet company suppliers in the exhibition area, and a number of gold sponsors are also organizing lunch symposia.

We have received a great number of scientific abstracts and you will have the possibility to learn more from them – either as oral abstract presenta-tions, scheduled in the ECMP 2018 congress programme, or as E-posters and paper posters.

Besides our scientific programme, we hope you will join us for the planned social events, allowing you to network with your colleagues.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Copenhagen, which is full of attractions, from historical architecture to the modern Opera House. You will still be able to enjoy the summer period and take a river cruise in a city, which is surrounded by the sea.

E-POSTERS AND PAPER POSTERSAll abstracts selected for poster presentation will be available as E-poster. You can consult the large number of E-posters at dedicated computers in the E-poster area. CPD POINTS AND CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCECertificate with CPD points and certificate of attendance will be available for download and print after the congress on-line (how-to-print and link will be sent to all active participants after ECMP 2018).

WI-FIThere is free Wi-Fi for participants at the congress venue. Find the KU Guest network and register with your phone num ber and email address. You will receive a text message on

your phone with a code. Use the “Login” to the KU network by using your email address as username and the code from the text message as pas-sword. The code is valid for 24 hours, whereupon you must register again.

LUNCH AND COFFEE BREAKSCoffee and tea are available in the exhibition area during morning- and afternoon breaks. Lunch is not inclu-ded in the congress fee. Please bring your presentation on a USB stick to the Speakers prep room, preferably the day before you will present but at least 3 hours before your presentation starts. The Speakers prep room is located at the venue near the registration area.

The Speakers prep room staff will upload the presentation and make sure it is available in the session room.

At the end of ECMP 2018, all pre-sentations will be deleted in order to secure that no copyright issues will arise, unless otherwise agreed.Kindly note that it is not possible to use your own computer.

Free of charge for the ECMP 2018 participants. Buses from city center to congress venue will be available each morning, and from congress venue to city center each afternoon. Kindly note that there are 300/200 (city-venue/venue-city) seats in total per departure, available on a first come, first served basis.
