In* early* 2013* the* Canaria* Elio* Antonio* de*Nebrija* Association,* together* with* European* institu-tions:* Scoala* Gimnaziala* "Maria* Rosetti"* (Romania),*Forma*Mentis*Onlus*(Italy),*Associação*de*Desenvolvi-mento* Community,* Cultural* and* Education*(Portugal),*Stowarzyszeneie*na*Rzecz*Warsztatu*Tera-pii* Zajeciowej* "Szansa* (Poland)* and* Tsada* Culture*and* Folklore* Club* (Cyprus)* drew* up* the* Grundtvig*European* project:* "EUROPEAN* CITIZEN* TODAY".*Once*approved,* it*has*been*developed*over*the*2013-14*and*2014-15*scholar*years.*Among*the*various*prod-ucts*developed*by*the*project*during*this*period,*you*can* find* the* magazine* we* are* presenting* today.* By*creating* this*publication*we*wanted* to* share* a* small*sample* of* the*whole*project* development.*We*firmly*believe*it*is*the*most*direct*way*to*reach*citizens.*We*consider*that*being*printed*in*paper*is*the*best*way*to*appreciate* the* full* extent* to* which* the* project* has*been*designed* to.* You* can*directly* access* any* of* the*aspects*developed* in*these* two*years,*beginning*with*our* first* actions* and* ending* with* the* most* recent*ones.*

The*main*purpose*of*editing*the*magazine*has*been* the* dissemination* of* the* project.*We*will* start*with* its* distribution* in* the* local* area,* then* through*the*regional*and*eventually*national*one,*with*the*in-tention* that* many* of* the* activities* can* survive* over*time,*even*after*the*implementation*of*the*project.*We*hope*the*flame*that*burns*with*the*achievment*of*the*activities,* many* in* collaboration* with* different* local*and*regional*institutions,*survives*and*lasts*in*time.

We*have* tried* to*reflect* the*highlights*of* the*work* done* by* the* association.* We* are* aware* that*many* aspects* of* our* work* have* been* left* out,* but*readers* have* to* understand* we* cannot* cover* every-thing,*not*only*because*of*the*space*but*also*because*of*its*cost.

Hoping*that*the*publication*will*be*useful*and*relevant* for*the*citizens*to*reflect*on*the*need,* today*more* than* ever,* to* be* active*participants* in* building*the*European*area,*it*is*enough*for*us*to*be*satisfied.*We*also*want*to*enhance*the*development*of*new*Eu-ropean*projects*and*we*dare*some*of*the*exposed*sec-tions*are*useful* to* form*the*basis* for* the*creation*of*new*Community*actions.

ria*Elio*Antonio*de*Nebrija,*junto*con*las*instituciones*europea:* Scoala* Gimnaziala* “María* Roset-ti”* (Rumanía),* Forma* Mentis* Onlus* (Italia),* Asso-ciação* de* Desenvolvimento* Comunitário,* Cultural* e*Educativo*(Portugal),*Stowarzyszeneie*na*Rzecz*Wars-ztatu* Terapii* Zajeciowej* “Szansa* (Polonia)* y* Tsada*Cultural* and* Folklore* Club* (Cyprus);* elaboraron* el*proyecto* europeo* Grundtvig:* “EUROPEAN* CITIZEN*TODAY”.*Una*vez*aprobado,* se*ha* *desarrollado*a* lo*largo* de* los* cursos* 2013-14* y* 2014-15.* Entre* los* vari-ados*productos*que* se*han*elaborado*en*este* tiempo*está* la* revista* que* presentamos* hoy.* En* ella* hemos*querido*dejar*reflejada*una*pequeña*muestra*de*todo*el* desarrollo* del* proyecto.* Lo* hemos* hecho* porque*creemos*que*es*la*manera*más*directa*de*llegar*al*ciu-dadano.* Este,* al* tenerla* entre* sus* manos,* puede*apreciar*en*toda*su*amplitud*en*que*ha*consistido*el*proyecto.*Directamente*puede*acceder*a*cualquiera*de*los*aspectos*desarrollados*en*estos*dos*años.*Arranca*con*las*primeras*acciones*y*finaliza*con*la*última.

El* fin* principal* de* editarla* ha* sido* el* de* di-fundir* el* proyecto.* Se* realizará* su* distribución* par-tiendo*del*area* local,*pasando* luego*por*el*regional*y*se* terminará* por* el* nacional.* Todo* ello* con* la* in-tención*de*que*puedan*pervivir*en*el* tiempo*muchas*de* las* actividades* que* han* comenzado* con* la* puesta*en*práctica*del*proyecto.*Que* la* llama*que* se*ha* en-cendido*con* la* realización*de* las*actividades,*muchas*con*la*colaboración*de*diferentes*instituciones*locales*y*regionales,*siga*viva*y*perdure*en*el*tiempo.

Hemos*intentado*reflejar*en*ella*lo*más*sobre-saliente*del*trabajo*realizado*por*la*asociación.*Somos*conscientes*de*que*se*han*quedado*en*el*tintero*mu-chos* aspectos* del* trabajo,* pero* los* lectores* han* de*serlo*también,*pues*no*podemos*abarcar*todo,*no*solo*por*el*espacio*que*se*necesitaría*sino*por*el*coste*de*la*misma.

Esperando*que*sea*de*utilidad*la*publicación*y*que*por*lo*menos*le*sirva*a*la*ciudadanía*para*reflex-ionar*sobre* la*necesidad*de*que*hoy,*más*que*nunca,*se*tiene*que*ser*un*participle*activo*en*la*construcción*del* espacio* europeo;* con* ello* nos* damos* por* satis-fechos.*También*queremos*potenciar*la*elaboración*de*nuevos* proyectos* europeos.* Que* * alguno* de* los*apartados*expuestos*sirvan*de*base*para*la*creación*de*nuevas*acciones*comunitarias.

The*project’s*aim*is*to*bring*Europe*closer*to*its*citizens*and*encourage*them*to*fully*participate*in*the*pro-cess*of*European* integration.*Throughout*our*project,*citizens*will*have*the*opportunity*to*be* involved* in*transnational*exchanges*and*cooperation*activities,*contributing*to*develope*a*sense*of*belonging*to*common*European*ideals,*promoting*the*concept*of*“active*European*citizenship”.

The*project*will*approach*its*issue*through*two*perspectives:

1.*Advertising*activities*regarding*Europe’s*shared*history,*fostering*a*sense*of*ownership*for*how*the*EU*has*developed,*remembering**the*people*about*the*tragic*history*of*Europe*during*its*last*wars*and*promoting**European*human*values* such*as*democracy,* liberty,*human*dignity,* solidarity,* tolerance,*minorities’* social*inclusion,*equal*opportunities*for*all,*etc…*Secondly,*we*will*promote*the*rights*of*European*citizens*today*-*information*on*EU*citizen's*rights*and*opportunities*and*how*to*exercise*them*(getting*a*residence*or*quali-fications*recognized*in*another*EU*country,*how*to*complain*about*unsafe*products,*etc).

2. Learners’*participation*at*the*debates,*seminars,*conference,*transnational*exchanges*and*cooperation*ac-tivities*will*contribute*to*the*developing*of*a*sense*of*belonging*to*common*European*ideals.

3.*The*project*also*proposes*ICT*and*English*courses* for*learners,*both*based*on*modern*and*effective*in-struments* of* non-formal* education,*made* by* the* partners’* trainers,* used* as* a* collaborative* work* by* the*transnational*team,*as*a*way*of**communication,*an*exchange*of**good*practices*and**a*conclusion*for*the*project’s*products.*The*target*group*will*be*adults*from*our*communities.

El*objetivo*del*proyecto*es*acercar*Europa*a*sus*ciudadanos*y*animarles*a*participar*plenamente*en*el*proce-so*de*integración*europea.*A*lo*largo*de*nuestro*proyecto,*los*ciudadanos*tendrán*la*oportunidad*de*partici-par*en*intercambios*transnacionales*y*actividades*de*cooperación,*contribuyendo*a*desarrollar*un*sentido*de*pertenencia*a*los*ideales*europeos*comunes,*promoviendo*el*concepto*de*"ciudadanía*europea*activa".

El*proyecto*abordará*el*tema*desde*dos*puntos*de*vista:

1ª)*Publicitar*actividades*relacionadas*con*la*historia*compartida*de*Europa,*fomentando*un*sentido*de*arrai-go*sobre*el*desarrollo*histórico*de*la*UE.*Por*un*lado,*recordando* a*la*población*la*trágica*historia*de*Euro-pa*durante*las*últimas*guerras,*promoviendo*valores*humanos*europeos*tales*como*la*democracia,*la*liber-tad,* la*dignidad*humana,* la*solidaridad,* la*tolerancia,* la* inclusión*de*las*minorías*sociales*o* la* igualdad*de*oportunidades*para*todos.*Y*por*otro*lado,*promoviendo*los*derechos* de*los*ciudadanos*europeos*de*hoy.*Se*dará*información*sobre*sus*derechos,*sus*oportunidades* y*la*forma*de*ejercerlos*(por*ej:*obtener*una*resi-dencia,* convalidar*títulos*en*otro*país*de*la*UE,*cómo*realizar*una*reclamación,*etc).

2ª)*Potenciar*la*participación*de*los*alumnos*en*actividades*comunes,*como:*debates,*seminarios,*conferen-cias,* intercambios* transnacionales* y* actividades* de* cooperación,* contribuyendo* a* desarrollar* el* sentido*de*arraigo*a*los*ideales*europeos*comunes.

3º)*Se*promoverán*cursos*para*estudiantes:*uno*sobre*las*TICs*y*otro*de*Inglés.*Ambos*basados*en*metodo-logía*moderna*y*eficaz,*así*como*en*educación*no*formal.*Dichos*cursos*serán*impartidos*por*formadores*de*las*instituciones*asociadas.*Se*formará*un*equipo*transnacional*para*comunicarse,*intercambiar*buenas*prác-ticas*y*elaborar* los*productos*finales*del*proyecto.*Los*destinatarios*de*las*actividades*serán*adultos*de*las*distintas*comunidades.

Our* Institution* is*called* “Sociedad*Canaria*Elio*Antonio*de*

Nebrija”.*It*is*a*non*governmental*association.*It*is*legally*estab-lished.* We* have* the* following* structure:* President,* Vice-president,* secretary,* treasurer* and* 5* members* from* different*areas* (education,* publications,* institutional* relations,* projects*and* use* of* information* and* communication).* We* have* 450*teachers.*Our*main*objective*is*the*permanent*teacher*training.

We* have* the* following* activities:* training* courses,* confer-ences,*congresses,*symposiums,*seminars*y*participation*in*pro-jects.

We*cover*the*following*areas:*specially*language*and*media.*Improving*the*process*teaching-learning,*expression*and*under-standing* (written* and* orally),* working* on* the* correct* use* of*language* in* different* circumstances* (administrative* language,*economic* language,* business* language,* etc.)* working* on* inter-disciplinary*(relating*all*areas*through*communication),*working*on*multicultural,*relating*different*languages,*applying*informat-ics*to*the*teaching-learning*process.

We* train* teachers* that* work,* in* order* to* improve* their*knowledge*and*also*just*graduated*teachers*that*acquire*profes-sional*practice

The* association* is* experienced* in* organizing* big* events.*Since* its* creation,* it* organizes* every* year* a* congress* with* an*average* attendance* of* 300* people.* There* were* various* topics:*work*with* immigrants*students* to*different*service*which*will*enable*them*to*develop*their*capabilities*and*skills;*to*become*a*major*factor*ensuring*equal*and*full-fledged*social* involvement*in*the*life*of*the*society*and*represent*the*interests*and*protect*the*basic*rights*of*those*individuals.

The*organization*provide: -*to*establish*social*agreement*and*collaboration*across*the*

territory; -*to*provide*to*young*and*adult*people*at*risk*of*social*exclu-

sion*access*to*culture*and*education; -*to*provide*social,*cultural*and*leisure*activities*encouraging*

coexistence*and*tolerance; -*to*foster*economic*development,*employment*and*training; -*to*promote*activities*which*are*a*social*service*to*the*com-

munity*and*immigrant*integration; -* to* promote* activities* among* the* youth,* women* and* the*

elderly.

Nuestra* Institución,* la* "Sociedad* Canaria* Elio* Antonio* de*

Nebrija",*es*una*asociación*no*gubernamental*constituida*legal-mente* *como*una*asociación*sin*ánimo*de* lucro.*La*estructura*de* la*asociación*es* la*siguiente:*Presidente,*Vice-presidente,* se-cretario,* tesorero* y* 5* vocales* de* diferentes* áreas* (educación,*publicaciones,* relaciones* institucionales,* proyectos* europeos* y*uso*de*la*información*y*la*comunicación).*Actualmente*la*consti-tuyen**unos*450*socios.*Aunque*inicialmente*el*principal**objeti-vo*fue**la*formación*permanente*y*continua,*actualmente*se*ha*ampliado*el*campo*de*acción*y*aborda*aspectos* fundamentales*en*la*sociedad*actual,*tales*como:*la*igualdad*de*género,*la*inclu-sión,*la*marginación,*la*emigración,*la*empleabilidad,*la*multicul-turalidad…

Son* numerosas* las* actividades* que* desarrolla,* destacamos:*cursos*de* formación,*conferencias,*congresos,* simposios,* jorna-das,*seminarios*y*elaboración*y*participación*de*diferentes*tipos*de*proyectos,*especialmente*europeos.

Las* áreas* que* desarrolla* son:* el* lenguaje* y* los* medios* de*comunicación,* la*mejora*del*proceso**enseñanza-aprendizaje,* la*expresión*y*la*comprensión*(escrita*y*oral),*el*uso*correcto*de*la*lengua* en* diferentes* circunstancias* (lenguaje* administrativo,*lenguaje*económico,*lenguaje*de*negocios…),*trabajos*interdisci-plinarios* (todas* las* áreas* relacionadas* con* la* comunicación),*trabajos* multiculturales,* la* relación* con* diferentes* idiomas,* la*aplicación*de*las*TIC*al*proceso*de*enseñanza-aprendizaje.

Formamos*al*profesorado*en*ejercicio*(con*el*fin*de*mejorar*sus*conocimientos)*y*a* los*que*se*acaban*de*graduar*para*que*adquieran*y*mejoren*su*práctica*profesional.*Se*ha*ampliado*el*campo*de* formación*al*público* general*ofreciéndole* formación*continua.

La*asociación*cuenta*con* experiencia* en* la*organización*de*grandes* eventos.*Desde* su* creación* * organiza* * anualmente* un*congreso* con* una* asistencia* media* de* 300* personas.* General-mente*los*temas*son*varios,*últimamente*se*ha*trabajado*con*los**inmigrantes*y*desfavorecidos*ofreciéndoles* *diferentes*servicios*para*que*les*permitan*desarrollar*sus*capacidades*y*habilidades;*asegurando*la*participación*social*equitativa*y*de*pleno*derecho*en*la*vida**potenciando*sus*intereses*y*protegiendo*los*derechos*fundamentales*de*los*ciudadanos.

Además*de*los*fines*específicos*nuestra* institución*también*ofrece*a*la*asociación:

•Establecer*un*acuerdo*social*y* colaboración*en*todo*el* te-rritorio.

•Proporcionar*a*los*jóvenes*y*adultos*en*situación*de*riesgo*de*exclusión*social*el*acceso*a*la*cultura*y*la*educación.

•Promover*actividades*sociales,*culturales*y*de*ocio* fomen-tando*la*convivencia*y*la*tolerancia.

•Fomentar* el* desarrollo* económico,* el* empleo* y* la* forma-ción.

•Potenciar*actividades*que*sean*un*servicio*social*a*la*comu-nidad*y*la*integración*de*inmigrantes.

•Organizar* actividades* entre* los* jóvenes,* las* mujeres* y* los*ancianos.

Tsada*Cultural*and*Folklore*Club*(Cyprus) Our* aim* is* to* promote* Cypriot* traditions* and*

identity*by*exposing*the*cultural*and*artistic*elements*of*its*history*and*past.*Tsada*is*the*village*of*the*Na-tional* Heroe,* Evagoras* Pallikarides,* where* his* home*was*turned*into*a*museum.*The*Club*is*dedicated*to*preserve*cultural*heritage*and*promote*the*customs,*traditions*and*the*genuine*elements*of*folklore*life.*It*operates* as* a* social* and* cultural* club*where* friends*and* associates* of* our* organization* can* benefit* from*relevant*cultural*endeavors,*such*as*preservation*and*restoring* cultural* items* and* tools* used* in* the* daily*life* of* the* village.* Through* its* activities,* it* provides*cultural* induction* to*Cyprus* to*people* from*Europe*and* other* countries,* through* short* tours* in* the* re-gion.*Cypriot*Villages*got*popular*not*only* for* their*hospitality,* but* also* for* the* wealth* in* cultural* tools*used* for* cooking,* sewing,*working* in* the* fields,* and*produce*food*and*home*goods.*It*is*also*worth*men-tioning* that* Cypriot* villages* are* promoting* agricul-tural* products;* producing* and* packaging* traditional*goods*in*order*to*maintain*the*quality*of*homemade*food* products.* Women* from* our* region* are* well*known* for* the* production* of* agricultural* products*such* as* grape* products* of* Kiofterka,* soutzoukos,*stafides*and*paloyzes.*Moreover,*they*produce*“Gliko*tou*Koytaliou”*which*are*sweets*made*of* fruits*con-served*naturally*in*their*syrop.

Tsada*Cultural*y*Folklore*Club*(Chipre)* Su*principal*objetivo*es*promover*las*tradiciones*y*

la* identidad*de*Chipre*mediante* la*exposición*de* los*elementos* culturales* y* artísticos* de* su* historia* y* su*pasado.*Tsada*es*el*pueblo*del*Héroe*Nacional,*Evago-ras*Pallikarides,*donde*su*casa*se*convirtió*en*un*mu-seo.*El*Club*está*dedicado*a*preservar*el*patrimonio*cultural*y*promover*las*costumbres,*las*tradiciones*y*los*elementos*genuinos*de*la*vida*y*folclore.*Funciona*como* un* club* social* y* cultural* donde* los* amigos* y*asociados*de*nuestra*organización*pueden*beneficiar-se*de*actividades*culturales* relevantes,* tales*como* la*conservación* y* restauración* de* bienes* culturales* y*uso*de*las*herramientas*utilizadas*en*la*vida*cotidiana*del* pueblo.* A* través* de* sus* actividades* proporciona*participación* en* propuestas* culturales* chipriotas* a*personas*de*Europa*y*otros*países,*a*través*de*reco-rridos* cortos* en* la* región.* Pueblos* chipriotas* consi-guieron*popularidad*no*sólo*por*su*hospitalidad,*sino*también* por* la* riqueza* de* herramientas* culturales*utilizadas* para* cocinar,* coser,* trabajar* en* el* campo,*en*la*producción*de*alimentos*y*productos*del*hogar.*También*vale*la*pena*mencionar*que*los*pueblos*chi-priotas* están* promoviendo* los* productos* agrícolas.*Hay* una* floreciente* producción* y* envasado* de* los*productos*tradicionales.*Siempre*manteniendo*la*cali-dad*de*los*productos*alimenticios*caseros.*Las*muje-res*de*nuestra*región*son*bien*conocidas*para*la*pro-ducción*de*productos* agrícolas,* tales* como:* produc-tos*de*la*uva*de*Kiofterka,*soutzoukos,*stafides*y*pa-loyzes.* Cabe* resaltar* que* se* producen* "Gliko* tou*

AJPRA*–*Association* to*Communitarian,*Cultural*and*Educational*Development*is*a*non-profit*organi-zation*with*public*utility*status*in*Évora,*Portugal.*It*was* founded* in* January* 1995* and,* during* its* exist-ence,* it* has* been* developing* projects* related* with*education,*culture,*environment,*sustainable*develop-ment,* science* and* technology,* developing* an* im-portant* role* on* investigation* and* formation.* The*main*purpose*is*to*support*the*active*and*non-active*population.

In* the* last* years*AJPRA,* in*protocol*with* the*na-tional* Commission* of* UNESCO,* created* a* UNESCO*Center* about* water,* energy* efficiency,* environment*and*sustainable*development,*the*UNESCO*Center*–*Village*of*Sciences.*This*partnership*with*the*national*Commission*of*UNESCO*emphasized*the*importance*of* the* organization* and* streamlined* the* relations*with*the*population,*developing*a*strong*network*of*cooperation.

district*of*Bucharest*with*a*stable*population*formed*mostly* by* middle-class* families.* The* staff* of* the*school*has*experience*as*coordinator*of*several*Euro-pean* projects* and* besides* the* provision* of* formal*education*acts*on*the*following*fields:

-* advocating* for* the* protection* of* the* rights* of*children* and*mothers* in* situations* of* risk* and* emi-grants;

-*collaborating*with*academic*institutions,*govern-mental*agencies,*non*governmental*organizations*and*advocacy*groups* in* the*development*and* implemen-tation*of*social*programs*for*the*Rroma*community;

La*"Exposición*de*Buenas*Prácticas"*y*la*quinta*reunión*del*proyecto*se*llevó*a*cabo*en*La*Laguna,*Tenerife,*Islas*Canarias*(España),*del*15*hasta*19*octubre,*2014. 107*personas*asistieron*a*la*Exposición.*56*escue-las*mostraron*sus*trabajos.*La*participación*de*la*comunidad*escolar*jugó*un*papel*muy*importante.*En*la*muestra*se*comprobó*que*la*participación*ciudadana*es*esencial*para*alcanzar*los*objetivos*fijados*para*nuestro*proyecto. The*“Exhibition*of*Good*Practices”*and*the*fifth*project*meeting*were held*at La*Laguna*and*Tene-rife,*Canary*Islands*(Spain),*15 –*19 October*2014.

107*people*attended*the*Exhibition.*56*schools*showed*their*work.*The*participation*of*the*school*community*played*a*very*important*role showing*that*citizen*participation*is*essential*to*achieve*the*goals*set*for*our*project.

Para* difundir* el* trabajo* realizado* por* la* Elio*Antonio*de*Nebrija,*nos*reunimos*el*día*22*de*fe-brero*de*2014*con*un*grupo*de**alumnos,*profeso-res*y*padres*del*CEIP*Rodríguez*Galván*de*Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife,*en*las*dependencias*del*Merca-do* Municipal* “Nuestra* Señora* de* África”,* para*difundir*la*labor*que*se*estaba*realizando.*El*mer-cado* es* un* lugar* muy* transitado* por* la* gente* y*aprovechando* este* hecho* se* vendieron* almana-ques*y*pulseras*para*recaudar*fondos*para*la*Aso-ciación*de*Mujeres*con*Cáncer*de*Mama,*AMATE.*La* ciudadanía* participó* con* mucho* interés* y* se*recaudó*una*buena*cantidad.


In*order*to*dissemintate*the*work*done*by*the*Elio* Antonio* de* Nebrija* Association,* we* met* on*February* 22nd,* 2014* with* a* group* of* students,*teachers*and*parents*from*CEIP*Rodriguez*Galvan*in*Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife*at*the*Municipal*Market*"Nuestra*Señora*de*África",*to*spread*the*work*we*have*done.*This*market* is* a*very*busy*place*and,*taking*this*into*advance,***almanacs*and*bracelets*to*raise*funds*for*the*Association*of*Women*with*Breast*Cancer,*AMATE,*were*sold.*Citizens*partic-ipated* with* great* interest* and* we* got* * a* great**amount*of*money.

Local* Canarian* Television*made* a* report* on* this* activity*and* and* it* was* aired* on* the*news,* what* * favored* the* dis-semination*of*the*work*done.

La* TV* Canaria* realizó* un*reportaje*sobre*esta*actividad*y*la*emitió*en*las*noticias.*Lo*cual*favoreció*la*difusión*de*la*labor*que*se*estaba*realizando.

REPRESENTACIÓN*TEATRAL*CON**INSTI-TUCIONES*COLABORADORAS*LOCALES Al*finalizar* la*“Ia*Exposición*de*Buenas*Prácticas”*en*la*plaza*del*Teatro*Guimerá*de*Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife,* se* representó* una* obra* teatral* al* aíre*libre.* Intervinieron*en*ella* tres* instituciones*cola-boradoras:*La*Escuela*de*Artes*y*Oficios*Fernando*Estévez,* el* * Conservatorio* de* Música* de* Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife*y*la*Escuela*de*Actores*de*Cana-rias.* Intervinieron* alumnos* y* profesores* de* estas*tres* instituciones* en* una* obra* vanguardista.* Al*realizarla* al* aire* libre* congregó* gran* cantidad*de*público.*

Fue*esta*obra*una*de*las*acciones*que*prepararon*estas* instituciones* colaboradoras* para* participar*en*el*evento*de*European*Citicen*Today.

.At*the*end*of**"the*exhibition*of*Best*Practices"*in*the*square*of*Guimerá*Theatre*in*Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife,*a*drama*performance*take*place*out-doors.*Three**collaborating*institution*take*part*on*it:*La*Escuela*de*Artes*y*Oficios*Fernando*Esté-vez*(School*of*Art*and*profession*Fernando*Esté-vez),*el**Conservatorio*de*Música*de*Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife(*The*Conservatory*of*Santa*Cruz*de*Tenerife)*y*la*Escuela*de*Actores*de*Canarias*(*The*Canary*School*of*Actors).*Teachers*and*stu-dents*from*this*three*institutions*participate*in*a*avant-garde*stage*play.*Thanks*to*be*outdoor*it*brought*together*a*large*crowd.

In* our* local* community* we* have* orga-nized*activities*against*Racism*which*is*im-portant* for* the* European* Union,* which*promotes*equality*for*all.*Our*club*has*or-ganized*a*seminar*on*racism*and*also*orga-nized*a*football*event*among*young*people,*including* immigrant* youth.* We* played* to-gether*and*had*fun. * * Our*activitie’s*aim*was*to*foster*social*inclusion* and* to* include* everyone* in* our*actions* including* immigrants* getting* to*know*better* the*Cyprus*and* its* traditions.*In*order*to*make*our*points*across,*we*have*published*articles*in*local*newspapers*with*the*message*that*football*unites*young*peo-ple.

ACTIVIDADES*REALIZADAS*DURANTE*EL* PE-RIODO* SEPTIEMBRE-OCTUBRE* DE* 2013*(RUMANÍA) 1.* Las* actividades* de* organización:* la* formación*del* equipo* del* proyecto,* las* responsabilidades*dentro*del* grupo*de* cada*uno*de* los*miembros*del*equipo,*elaboración*del*plan*de*trabajo- 2.*Durante* la* reunión*del* equipo*de* trabajo,* al-gunos* miembros* propusieron* la* elaboración* de*un*cuestionario,* este* se*ha* enviado*a* los* socios.*Trata* de* la* actitud* sobre* el* voluntariado* como*un*componente*valioso*de*la*ciudadanía*europea*y* sobre* el* nivel* de* conocimiento*que* tienen* los*ciudadanos*de*las*instituciones*de*la*UE. 3.*La*Sra*Mihaela*Stoenescu,*miembro*del*perso-nal* del* proyecto,* ha* mantenido* un* debate* en*nuestra* escuela,* el* 24/10/2013* sobre*"instituciones*de*la*UE”,*las*habilidades*en*la*re-solución*de*conflictos*entre*los*ciudadanos*euro-peos,*los*ciudadanos*y*las*empresas*privadas,*los*ciudadanos*y*el*estado*de*bienestarr.*En*este*de-bate* se* habló* sobre* historia* y* educación* cívica*entre*los*profesores*y*los*alumnos.
