Marvel at the well-preserved ancient theater in Taormina, just steps from your hotel. tThe original structure was built during the Hellenistic period, hewn out of the rocky slope of Mount Tauro. The theater that remains today was remodeled by the Romans in the 2nd and 3rd centuries and it is the second largest theater in Sicily.

Arrive in Berlin on Sunday on your independent flight. Reunited Berlin, once again the capital of Germany, has seen a tremendous renovation and growth, which is evident during your city tour. Highlights include Charlottenburg Palace, Kurfurstendamm Blvd. and Potsdamer Platz. The Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most beautiful squares in Europe with its twin French and German Cathedrals and the Concert House built by Schinkel. At Museum Island (UNESCO) explore the famous Pergamon Museum, with its magnificent Babylonian Processional Way and Pergamon Altar.

Continue to the famous Reichstag Building, the German parliament building. Its glass cupola designed by Sir Norman Foster, has become one of Berlin’s newest landmarks. After a short tour of the government quarter, enjoy lunch in its rooftop restaurant offering magnificent views of the city.

Learn the history of the Berlin Wall at the Checkpoint Charlie Museum, situated at the famous historical checkpoint between the two Berlins and see the remnants of the Wall, including a stop at Scheneberg Town Hall where JFK gave his famous speech “ Ich bin ein Berliner”.

On Tuesday journey outside of Berlin to Potsdam, at one time the principal seat of the Kings of Prussia. Potsdam’s palaces and gardens are among the most beautiful places to visit. Dresden, is the Free State of Saxony in Germany. It is situated in a valley on the River Elbe, near the Czech border. Dresden has a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendor. The city was known as the Jewel Box, because of its Baroque and Rococo city centre. A controversial Allied aerial bombing towards the end of World War II killed 25,000 civilians and destroyed the entire city centre. Since the German reunification in 1990, Dresden has regained importance as one of the cultural, educational, political and economic centers of Germany and Europe.

This morning board your Private Jet bound for the Azores Islands situated in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. We’ll make a stop in San Miguel, referred to locally as “The Green Island”, the largest island in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. Drive the south road past scenic villages to Vila Franca, the first capital of the island. Explore the Valley of Furnas, with its lake, hot springs and surrounding holes where meals are cooked by underground vapors. After lunch visit the botanical gardens, geysers and mineral water springs. Crossing to the north coast, stop at the tea plantation before returning to the airport.

Developed in conjunctionwith Travel Guard, this plan is available at the time of reservation and mayprotect you against unforeseen events. Cancellation insurance is stronglyrecommended.

Responsibility of Traveler: This is an active program, requiring participantsto be in good health and capable of moderate exertion. Participants mustbe able to ascend and descend the aircraft stairs. Special assistance and/orprivate ground arrangements may be available at additional cost, dependingupon specific requirements. Smoking is prohibited on the private jet, at groupmeals, on buses and during all group activities.

Travel documents: Lakani World Tours does not obtain personal traveldocuments or assume responsibility for notifying travelers of currentrequirements. All expenses incurred as a result of delays or itinerary changesrelated to lack of appropriate travel documents shall be borne by the individualtraveler.

Health & Inoculations: Inoculation requirements and recommendationsoften change; therefore, we strongly recommend you contact your personalphysician, local Health Department, or the Center for Disease Control inAtlanta, Georgia, 404-322-4559 or www.cdc.gov/travel and advise them ofyour itinerary.

Photography: Lakani World Tours encourages tour participants to takephotographs and videos during the tour and submit them to the Lakani TravelClub photography contest or for use in promotional materials. Participantswho prefer that their image not be used for marketing purposes are asked tomake this request known in writing prior to departure.

Prices: Lakani World Tours reserves the right to increase tour prices to coverincreased costs after prices are published, and to reflect fluctuations in foreignexchange markets. Lakani World Tours is under no obligation to provide abreakdown of costs involved in this program.

Responsibility: Lakani World Tours and its employees, independentcontractors and representatives act only as agents in arranging hotels orlodging, transportation, ground handling, restaurants, or other travel servicesand in no way shall be held liable in the event of failure by any person orcompany to render services to travelers, nor shall they be held liable for anynegligent or willful act by any such person or company. Furthermore, neitherLakani World Travel Inc (DBA Lakani World Tours) nor its employees,independent contractors or agents shall be held liable or responsible for anyinjury, loss, death, or damage to personal property in connection with anygoods or services provided, resulting from force majeure, acts of God, civilunrest, acts of war, terrorist activities, labor strikes, or mechanical failure oftransport while traveling. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, LakaniWorld Tours reserves the right, without notice, to withdraw any or all partsof a tour and or to make such changes as may be necessary. The extra cost, ifany, for such changes will be the responsibility of the traveler. Lakani WorldTours reserves the right to cancel the tour, in which case a full refund willbe made without further obligation on our part. We also reserve the rightto decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of the tour, or torequire a participant to withdraw from the tour at their own expense whensuch an action is determined by Lakani World Tours tour staff to be in thebest interest of the participant’s health and safety or that of the tour group.No refund will be made for the unused portion of the tour. The publishedtour cost is based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect in August, 2014, andis subject to change. Any tariff, exchange rate or fuel surcharge will be passedon to the participants. Baggage is carried at the owner’s risk entirely. It isunderstood that the air ticket when issued shall constitute the sole contractbetween the passenger and the airline concerned. The airlines concerned arenot to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the timepassengers are not on board their plane or conveyance. Lakani World Toursaccepts no liability for any airline’s cancellation penalty or change fee incurredby the purchase of a restricted air ticket in connection with this tour. Inregard to credit card payments for travel services to Lakani World Tours thetraveler (and or cardholder or the cardholders authorized representative)will hold Lakani World Tours and its employees, independent contractorsor representatives harmless for any or all charge-backs exercised by them ortheir credit card companies, originating from any complaints regarding travelservices or involving refund requests of monies paid when insurance was notpurchased, or for any reason whereby the traveler did not utilize any portionof the prepaid travel services, or any reasons whatsoever.

Arbitration Resolution: Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relatingto, any services arranged by Lakani World Tours shall be resolved solely bybinding arbitration in Orange County, California, in accordance with therules of the American Arbitration Association. Acceptance of initial travelservices and payment of monies to Lakani World Tours will constituteagreement by the traveler(s) of these Terms & Conditions.

California law requires sellers of travel to be bonded. Lakani World Toursis bonded through Great American Insurance and is a participant in theCalifornia Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation, TCRC fund.
