An incredible marriage – the exoticism of Italy, Spain and Portugal and Europe’s northern extremes including Denmark, Estonia, Russia, Finland and Germany.

From Civitavecchia (port of Rome) where Western culture basically began, the ship’s compass points east to Spain and the delights of ancient Cartagena with its Roman theatre, Malaga where as expected, the major new museum devoted to Malaga-born Pablo Picasso is electrifying the city and Cadiz (for Seville). In the heart of Andalucía, orange-blossom scented Seville boasts breathtaking architecture and a vibrant streetscape. A stone’s throw from here is Jerez - famed for the drink sherry. Sherry and hunks of Manchego cheese are an ambrosial Iberian snack! Discover Lisbon capital of Portugal, a city that boasts Gothic cathedrals, narrow lanes and backstreets interwoven with cafes and bright yellow trams. Explore St Peter Port – impossibly picturesque capital of Guernsey before continuing north to Scandinavia and the Baltic’s. Copenhagen, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm occupy a heady week. Via Warnemunde (for Berlin) an arrival at Copenhagen heralds a stunning conclusion.

Must See, Must Do! ‘Check out Berlin’

The capital city of Deutschland! Around 3 hours by train from Warnemunde, Berlin, 20 years after its post-wall rebirth is a scene-stealer teeming with top museums and galleries, cafes, shops and famous landmarks such as the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the legendary Checkpoint Charlie.

Many of our solo travellers had been looking to capitalise on the ability to share their travel experience with other like-minded travellers, avoid single supplements and importantly, have fun in an atmosphere where they could feel comfortable as a solo traveller.

Today, our Solo Traveller Club is a growing community of like-minded people. There’s no ‘a’ in lone travel when part of

our Solo Traveller Club. You’ll be with other solo travellers who share a passion for life and a desire to embrace new

experiences at home and abroad. Genuine camaraderie exists. Just pop along to one of our in-demand social events,

and you’ll see for yourself.

There has never been a better time to become a member of the PHT Solo Traveller Club. You can join the club for only $25 per

person, which is redeemable upon your first holiday booking. Beyond the savings, the rewards of Club membership are priceless.
