The Dutch, Flemish in its range to the north, is the mother tongue of more than 60% of the population.

DENMARK

Is located in northern Europe and is surrounded by the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. It consists of three autonomous parts: Denmark, Greenland and the Feroe islands.

The capital of Denmark is Copenhagen. It is located on Selandia island.

The official language of Denmark is Danish but German, Faroese and Greenlandic are also spoken throughout the territories.

A typical dish from Denmark is the smorrebrod. Similar to a sandwich with only one slice of bread, It consists of a slice of black bread with butter, slices of chesse, meat, fish and garrison.

Many famous fictional and historical people came from Denmark. A few are: Hans Cristian Andersen, Soren Kierkegoard, Karen Blixen and Hamlet.

FINLAND

Finland, officially the Republic of Finland, is a Nordic country situated in Northern Europe. It is bordered by Sweden to the west, Norway to the north, Russia to the east, and Estonia to the south across the Gulf of Finland.

The capital of Finland is Helsinki.

Finnish and Swedish are the official languages of Finland.

The traditional food of Finland usually consists of fish, potatoes, meat and rye bread with butter. There is an abundance of fresh fish that is eaten in Finland including lucio, trout, perch, salmon and herring.Some traditional plates from Finland include: kalakukko - a stuffed pie of fish and pig baked with a rye flour layer. As well as Karjalan piirakat – a flour pastry stuffed with rice pudding and poppy seeds. A typical delight of the east of the country.

2. LaplandMany tales are told that Santa Claus lives at the north pole, precisely in Lapland. Lapland is the town of Santa Claus, Santa Claus Village is an amusement park in Finland.

3. Rauma : Rauma is one of the oldest ports in Finland. Rauma is a UNESCO World Heritage Site best known for its high quality lace and the Old Rauma Town for its old wooden architecture. Rauma had a Franciscan Monastery and a Catholic Church before it was declared as a town. Rauma is the fifth largest port in Finland, having almost 6 million tones of shipment each year.

Location
