EUROPCAR CAR RENTAL NZ TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THE CAR RENTAL COST INCLUDES:- Unlimited mileage- Airport and ferry location pick up fees- Additional driver charges

- One way fees for hire of 3 days or more- Standard daily insurance- GST (government tax for Goods & Services) 15%

THE CAR RENTAL COST EXCLUDES: petrol expenses, car parking expenses, tollroad charges, infringement tickets (from local council or police) or any further chargesassociated to the unpaid infringement or fines, etc.

Rental vehicles are quoted or/and booked per category and there is no guarantee of themake and model.

Rental days : are calculated on a 24 hour basis.

Insurance Excess : An insurance excess (currently NZD3094.00 for Group C, Group D, and

NZD3300.00 for Group I, Group L, Group P, Group M, subject to changes) applies in theevent of accident or damage to the vehicle.

Security Bond : A credit card (must be in the drivers name) imprint is taken for the bond at thetime of vehicle collection and destroyed at termination of the hire, provided that the vehicle isreturned in the same condition that it left the depot and with full petrol tank. In case a creditcard is unavailable, a cash deposit is required (under the condition that the Insurance Waiveris purchased) and will be refunded (if no damage on the rental car and vehicle returned withfull petrol tank) will be refunded via Make My Trip bank account approx 2 weeks aftercompletion of the hire.

Insurance Waiver : an optional insurance excess is available on initiation of the hire. The dailycharge reduces the excess payable in the event of an accident and is payable directly toEuropcar. The standard DLF (Damage Liability Fee) is NZ$ 21.38 per day, and the POM(Peace of Mind package, including Windscreen, Headlight and Tyre damage) is NZ$ 24.55

per day. Both will reduce the excess to NZD338.00, subject to changes. SPOM (Super Peaceof Mind) option is also available at NZ$35.80 per day and reduces the DLF to $0 for classesECMR, CDAR, IDAR, FDAR, IFAR, SFAR, & PVAR only.

Oneway hire : Oneway hires between any Europcar depots and under 3 days consecutivedays will incur one-way fee (refer to the separate matrix if applicable, subject to change), paydirect to Europcar at the time of vehicle collection

Multi Leg hires : For the hire to be one continuous hire, there must be no more than 72 hourperiod between drop off of the one vehicle and pick up of the next vehicle.

After Hours: Pick ups or drop offs after 7 pm or before 7am from Ferry or city locations orairport locations where a representing agency is involved will incur an after hour fee (currentlyNZD35 per vehicle per pick up or drop off, subject to change), pay direct to Europcar.

Europcar provides clients piece of mind with a 24 hour call free telephone support service.

Age Requirements : Customers must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be eligible to rent acar from Europcar. Conditions apply for renters under the age of 25. 21-24yr olds must pay an Age Surcharge. Drivers Aged 21-24 cannot reduce their Damage Liability Fee, however they can purchase

WWI Drivers Aged 21 24 can only rent ECMR, CDAR, IDAR, SDAR, IFAR A minimum age of 25 yrs is required for the following vehicles FDAR FWAR, PVAR, IVAR,

License : A valid full resident country drivers license (not probationary or restricted licenses)is to be presented at the time of rental. This may be your own license provided that it isrecognised internationally and is in English. Indian driving license is valid in New Zealand.International drivers Permits are also recognised.

Branches: Europcar Car Rental provides branches or agents in all major cities and townsincluding Auckland, Auckland Airport, Palmerston North Airport, Hamilton Airport, Wellington

City, Wellington Airport, Picton, Christchurch city, Christchurch Airport, Greymouth,Queenstown airport, Dunedin airport etc., and also has representing agency in Rotoruaairport, Rotorua city, Nelson, Blenheim, and Taupo airport.

Baby Seats: the following are available for hire: Baby Capsules (birth to approx 9 months),Baby Seats (approx 9 months to 3 years) and a Booster Seat (approx 3 years +), these areavailable for hire for NZ$39.38 per rental, subject to change. It must be pre-booked and paydirect to Europcar at the time of vehicle collection.

GPS: optional GPS units are available for hire (currently NZD 12 per day or a maximum costof NZD 120 per hire, subject to change). It must be pre-booked and pay directly to Europcarat the time of vehicle collection.

Snow chain : Queenstown Lakes District bylaw requires that snow chains are fitted on allvehicles traveling on snow or icy roads. The bylaw reads At the direction of an enforcement

officer or authorised officer, the driver of any vehicle may be required to fit snow chains tosuch vehicle on any road. No person shall drive, or direct or allow such vehicle to be drivenwithout such snow chains fitted. In line with this bylaw, Europcar provides snow chains withall rental vehicles during the months of May-October (*please remind the clients to check theboot at the time of vehicle collection). If the seal on the snow chains is unbroken, there will beno charge. If the seal is broken, it means the snow chains are used and the clients will becharged for the snow chain hire based on duration of the vehicle hire (currently NZD11.25 perday or a maximum cost of NZD56.25 per hire, subject to change).

Any other conditions as applicable will be advised at the time of confirmation of reservation All terms are subject to change at the discretion of Europcar Car Rental New Zealand.
