euresys picolo.net hd-sdi/ hdcctv - ip encoders
DESCRIPTION
If you are an installation company of IP Cameras then you need to secure your site outside of the building with this wonderful product. The Picolo.net HD8R is an HD-SDI / HDcctv™ video encoder in a 19-inch 1U chassis. It is engineered to handle the most demanding video surveillance applications. As the foundation for an adaptive video-surveillance system, the Picolo.net HD8R delivers impressive performance, streaming video from up to 8 Full HD (1080p30) or HD (720p60) HD-SDI / HDcctv™ cameras over an IP video-surveillance network. HD-SDI / HDcctv™ is as easy to install and maintain as analog CCTV systems. It uses the same coaxial cables as analog for new or existing installations and delivers high-definition digital video over at least 100 meters of standard RG59 coaxial cables, with the added benefit of sending live uncompressed video to other devices, such as monitors, with no latency. The Picolo.net HD8R combines all the advantages of HD video with the benefits of HDcctv™ and ONVIF Profile S, which provides interoperability with Video Management Software (VMS) applications. With the Picolo.net HD8R, HD video can be streamed, viewed, analyzed and stored anywhere on an IP video-surveillance network. With Picolo.net HD8R, make the move to HD and simply discover a brand new world of clarity. Important details: Remember that using our encoders requires only ¼ of ports on a managed switch so the customer may be able to reduce costs by using fewer managed switches. Each IP camera would require two converters. IP cameras will stream out compressed video at typically 5FPS (+/-) depending on available bandwidth, more motion less FPS. With HD-SDI the frame rate is a contact frame rate. Example : Latency such as with device such as NVT will need to convert from IP to Coax, convert back to IP, and after that decode for viewing. With HD-SDI Encoder only decoding is required. If you use the HD-SDI to HDMI converter directly to a monitor, then no decoding is required and the latency is less. If you had an 8 camera system you would need 16 of these converters, 8 IP cameras, etc. You would just need the Picolo.net HD4/HD8R and the cameras. Whom ...?
- Existing infrastructures : new cables cannot be installed
- Transportation (Metro, Rail, Bus, Airport Terminals)- Hospitals- Financial (Banks)- Museums- Homeland Security (Border Protection and Power
Plants)- Corrections- And others...
Simply change the existing NTSC camera by a HD-SDI camera AND replace the existing DVR with an HD-SDI Network Video Encoder... Will multiply by 6 the number of pixels.
