Conclusions
• Combined heating and cooling with an ammonia heat pump is a very
attractive solution among existing only heating system.
• This allows savings not only for heating cost but also
• On the total cost of energy per units manufactured
• In term of CO2 emissions,
• Low Ammonia charge (For those who would be afraid of this)
• In term water consumption
• For the future, F-Gas regulation in Europe opens large opportunities
in the replacement of existing HFC installations.
• Combined heating and cooling can be applied on any industrial
process requiring cooling and heating on different steps in their
manufacturing process.
