Education Theme for 2016 Lake Erie Starts Here – education related to direct tributaries to Lake Erie and their impact on the great lake and things you can do on property.

Involvement / Education Event: Rain Barrel Workshop and Compost Seminar – Thursday, May 26, 6:30-8:30pm – 34
attendees learned about composting (photo below) and made 15 rain barrels to take home and install

Stream Naming Project – Euclid Creek Watershed resident, Charles Sawyer, to research and propose stream names for unnamed streams in Euclid Creek. Mr. Sawyer and Ms. Posius will coordinate on how to outreach on effort to streamside property owners, Watershed Council communities, etc.
Stormwater Control Measure (formerly known as BMP) Trainings will be offered by CSWCD staff to PIPE communities that have features in
community (detention/retention basins, bioretention, permeable pavement, green roofs…) to train those maintaining features
