EUROPEAN PROJECTSOur school can offer lots of opportunities, including intercultural exchanges and intercultural
projects.
These are the most significant initiatives:
eTwinningeTwinning was launched in 2005 as the main action of the European Commission’s eLearning
Programme. It promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and
Communication Technologies by providing support, tools and services for schools. eTwinning
offers a platform for teachers and students of a school in one of the European countries
involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part
of the most exciting learning community in Europe. It has been firmly integrated in Erasmus+
since 2014 and now it is further supported at national level by 37 National Support Services.
Our school elaborated three projects and it won two prizes.
The students from IIIBL won one of them at the end of the school year 2015-2016. The name
of the project was "May 1816-2016 : Celebrating Mary Shelley’s writing of FRANKENSTEIN",

in fact it was meant to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the writing of FRANKENSTEIN by
Mary Shelley. For this reason the students had to write gothic stories.

of the student to work indipendently on the computer. The student must pass seven different
exams in order to obtain the certificate and our school offers the opportunity to attend some
lessons to get ready for these seven tests.
