It was wonderful to reconnect with many of you as we honored Dr. Feltin with a beautiful retirement celebration in May at the Mountaineers Club in Seattle. Her years of dedicated hard work were acknowledged as parents and alumni shared their Eton stories. Thank you to all who participated in making the evening a truly special event.

Even though retired, Dr. Feltin remains very active within the Montessori and the independent school communities. She plans on travelling to different parts of the world and spending more time with family and friends.

Coffee with Russell Russell invites people to either come to one of the Coffees that we have scheduled here at school or to make an appointment to come in to chat. The Coffees are a great way to learn about Russell’s background and hear how supportive and enthusiastic he is of our amazing Eton program. He understands and beautifully articulates a vision of the evolution of Eton that has been created by faculty and staff here over the years. There is a coffee scheduled for 9:00 am on Thursday, November 15, in the Activity Room in the Main Building.

Celebrating Our Diversity: Culture Fair 2012The Eton Cultural Fair has been an annual tradition since 2006. We come together as a whole school in September to get to know one another and celebrate the diversity of the Eton community. It is a fantastic event with booths hosted by our families representing different cultures, multicultural entertainment and an international buffet lunch.

This was a perfect welcome event for Russell and Rebecca Smith as they had the opportunity to meet much of the current Eton community in a really festive setting. They graciously hosted a table where guests could learn more about the two of them.
