Emissions Technology, Inc. Licenses Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. To Sell and Distribute Green, Pollution-Busting Technology

PHOENIX, Dec 13, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Emissions Technology, Inc., (ETI) a Phoenix-based emissions control company has entered into a licensing agreement with Canadian-based Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. (ESW) for ETI's patented Combustion Catalyst System (CCS: 21.00, -0.06, -0.28%).

The CCS is the size of a large cereal box and is installed under the hood, near the diesel engine's turbocharger. The technology makes the engine combustion cleaner and more efficient by injecting a platinum-based catalyst into the combustion chamber. The concept is the same as taking a catalytic converter, and installing it on the front end of the combustion cycle, rather than on the exhaust. Because the CCS is a pre-combustion solution, not only does it significantly reduce harmful emissions, but also decreases fuel consumption.

Under the licensing agreement, ESW will change out pre-selected components, namely ETI's revolutionary catalyst delivery system and the shock-resistant housing assembly that protects the electronics that comprise the CCS with ESW components. In addition, ESW will re-brand the CCS as the Fogger(TM: 108.22, -2.21, -2.00%) and sell and distribute the product under the ESW name.

"Our core technology combined with ESW's brand recognition and established global sales and distribution channels is a win-win solution for both of our companies."

According to the deal, ETI will receive a royalty fee on a per unit sold basis. In addition, ETI also will receive all revenue from the platinum-based catalyst refills at a preset, specified price. On average, off-road, on-road and stationary diesel engines under normal use conditions use between four to eight bottles of catalyst a year.
