Preliminary Program
Christer Mattsson is a scholar and the director of the Segerstedt Institute at the University of Gothenburg. Dr. Mattsson is primarily conducting research on violent radicalization and how this could be prevented by schooling. Dr. Mattsson has played a key role in the development of Holocaust Education in Sweden and is making use of this experience in prevention of violent extremism. Lecture: The Extremist in the Classroom—Making Use of Holocaust Education to Counteract Extremism
Marian Turski is a Holocaust survivor and chairman of the POLIN Museum Council (TBC).
Dr. Joanna Talewicz-‐Kwiatkowska is a Roma activist. She works at the Jagiellonian University. Lecture: Antigypsyism in European Societies
Dr. Joanna Ostrowska is an independent researcher and author. Lecture: Forgotten Victims of Nazism in the Polish Discourse on WWII
Willy Silberstein is the conference moderator and former chairman of the Swedish Committee Against Antisemitism.
