Topics will be: matching of various types of images, modem treatment simulation methods, 3D treatment planning, monitor unit calculations, multileaf collimators, beam intensity modulation, portal imaging and in vivo doshnetry. In addition to the theoretical presentations ia the morning, there will be practical demonstrations in the afternoon using advanced computing and irradiation facilities, ia combiaa- tioa with commercial companies. The technologists will have their own practical demonstrations. Clinicians and physicists, experienced in the field of conformal therapy and experts in the use of ad- vanced equipment will be teaching. Director: B.
