KSTRO Teacking Course: Comformal Therapy and other Advanced Imdiation Tedmiqws, Amster- dtm, The Netkerbds A new, “advanced” Course for the physicist, radiation therapist aad technologist having a thorough knowledge of clinical physics and some basic understandings of coafonnal therapy. Topics will be:

matching of various types of images, modem treatment simulation methods, 3D treatment planning, monitor unit calculations, multileaf collimators, beam intensity modulation, portal imaging and in vivo doshnetry. In addition to the theoretical presentations ia the morning, there will be practical demonstrations in the afternoon using advanced computing and irradiation facilities, ia combiaa- tioa with commercial companies. The technologists will have their own practical demonstrations.
