Coiled right up in the north of Europe along the Baltic Sea coast,Tallin is the least known of the three Baltic sisters. It is however theliveliest and most dynamic of the three. Since the independence ofEstonia, obtained in 1991, the Estonian capital has caught up on allthe new technologies and the internet. It has been living the digitalworld. It became the European Cultural capital of 2011, just like itsFinnish neighbour, Turku. The historical centre is a Medieval jewelwhich is on the list of Unesco’s world heritage treasures.
