HISTORY

• Founded in 1854 by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Saint Stanislaus is the oldest institution of learning on the Mississippi

Gulf Coast. • Chartered in 1870 as Saint Stanislaus College, the school became

college preparatory in 1923. In 160 years, the Brothers and faculty at

• Saint Stanislaus have formed more than 10,000 young men in the principles of Christian doctrine and education. These young men upon leaving Saint Stanislaus have taken their place in the world

as true Men of Character.

HISTORY

• One blessing in disguise from Hurricane Katrina was our facility being well positioned to offer Hospitality to the

many volunteer groups who were so instrumental in our ongoing rebuilding process.

• After many years of work with Insurance companies, FEMA and excellent local contractors, we have just this

past Summer completed renovations to Aurelian Hall (our dormitory building), and our College Café (our dining

hall).

• Recently renovated dormitory building (Aurelian Hall) - most bedrooms accommodate up to 3 guests. Each room includes it’s own private

bathroom, personal desk, and personal closet.

• Aurelian Hall has 2 small meeting rooms, each able to seat approximately 10-20 participants (depending on configuration),

based upon availability.$50 per day/per guest, which includes breakfast, lunch & dinner each day!

COLLEGE CAFÉ

Our “College Café” building is a State of the art dining facility including a larger room (250 seats), and a smaller room (up to 90 seats) – both equipped with roll down screen and projector

plus multiple flat screen televisions throughout the dining room.
